Collects donations and provides school supplies for children in Oswego County.

Students can only receive items from the district that they are enrolled in. A copy of your child's 2023-2024 School Report Card will be required for entrance to pick up school supplies. If entering a district for the first time or transferring into a new district, an enrollment letter from that district is required.

Preferred items include backpacks, lunch boxes, notebooks, pocket folders, pens, pencils, washable markers, crayons, glue/glue sticks, scissors, rulers and hand wipes. Donations may be dropped off at the United Way of Long Island's office at 819 Grand Blvd., Deer Park, from 9am-5pm. This is a donation program only. Volunteers needed to help sort and distribute supplies.

ACCEPTABLE SUPPLIES (Accepted with prior arrangements, only): Filler paper, marble composition notebooks, one subject spiral notebooks, 1â binders, highlighters, pencils, 2 pocket folders, erasers, and 12â rulers.
