School supplies distributed in August of each year. Event for Poughkeepsie city school district children. ACCEPTABLE SUPPLIES (Accepted with prior arrangements, only): Filler paper, marble composition notebooks, one subject spiral notebooks, 1â binders, highlighters, pencils, 2 pocket folders, erasers, and 12â rulers. To make a monetary donation to purchase the backpacks and the needed supplies, please go to fppchurch.org and click on the online giving button, or make a check payable to Freedom Plains United Presbyterian Church (Write BAM in the memo section), P.O. Collects donations and provides school supplies for children in Oswego County.

Students can only receive items from the district that they are enrolled in. A copy of your child's 2023-2024 School Report Card will be required for entrance to pick up school supplies. If entering a district for the first time or transferring into a new district, an enrollment letter from that district is required.

Donations may be dropped off at the United Way of Long Island's office at 819 Grand Blvd., Deer Park, from 9am-5pm. This is a donation program only. Volunteers needed to help sort and distribute supplies.
Offers gently used clothing for boys and girls size 5T to 14, personal hygiene products and school supplies. Also has available new socks, underwear and swimwear. Accepting donations of all of these items as well as monetary to be used to purchase new items for the Kloset. Donations can be dropped off during normal school hours.

THIS IS A VOLUNTEER/DONATIONS PROGRAM. Those needing school supplies or holiday gifts should contact their child's school nurse or social worker.Volunteer effort to benefit needy elementary school children in Tompkins County and surrounding areas with clothing, school supplies and toys.Members of the Cornell community and the general public can participate in either or both Elf programs: winter holiday: children in greatest need are identified by their schools. Profile sheets about each child are distributed to individuals, families or groups who purchase, wrap and deliver gifts to the child's school. To protect the families' anonymity, the school arranges for distributing the gits. backpack: new backpacks and school supplies from a list are purchased during the summer. Filled backpacks are delivered to schools before school starts.To help the Elves: become a sponsor and purchase items for the programs donate by sending a check to The Elves c/o Bill Alberta, 751 Elm Street Ext.Ithaca, NY 14850. All donations go directly toward buying items for the program.
