Provides new and gently used baby and children's clothing (newborn to children's size 14), and when available, provides strollers, car seats, pop-up cribs, highchairs, educational toys, and books. (Does not provide diapers, formula, financial assistance, or furniture other than what is already specified above.) Expectant parents may be served when they are within 60 days of their due date. Clients may be served twice a year: once in spring/summer and once in fall/winter.

Family Reading Partnership provides a wealth of programs to surround families with stories all year long!- The Nook at Family Reading Partnership is a fun and relaxing space designed with families in mind. It is open 10am-6pm Monday and Tuesday and 10am-4pm Wednesday-Friday. All caregivers and children under five are invited to come visit to play, read, and relax together, free of charge!- Bright Red Bookshelves in over 50 locations in Tompkins County offer free, gently used books for children to take home and keep.- 7 Story Walks across Tompkins County with new books posted at each site every few months so families can visit again and again for a new adventure!- Books to Grow On gifts new books to all families from before birth through age five at a pre-natal medical visit, all child well-visits to Tompkins County medical providers, and at Kindergarten registration.- Traveling Books provides a volunteer reader and rotating collection of books to daycare providers throughout and beyond Tompkins County.Many small programs specifically serving under-resourced community members via the Tompkins County Whole Health, department of Social Services, The Child Development Council, and others.

Accepts household items including kitchenware, small kitchen appliances, linens, winter coats and boots, baby clothing, some furniture, children's books and books for English learners and dictionaries as well as gift cards to grocery and department stores.

Sign-ups for Broome County Toys for Tots will start on Monday December 2nd and will end Saturday December 14th The Broome County Toys for Tots headquarters is open Monday - Friday from 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm and Saturdays from 9am-12pm. we will also have extended hours for sign ups on Wednesday December 4th and December 11th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.Donations can be dropped off during the hours of operation until Tuesday, December 19th. Drop off barrels are located at the Binghamton Police Department, Broome County Sheriff's Office, Endicott Police Department, Johnson City Police Department, and the Vestal Police Department. Manages the Toys for Tots program for families in need who reside in the Deposit Central School District. Low-income children (18 yrs or younger).To register your child call our office at 607-467-4000, or stop in during our office hours, registration begins in November.You must live within the Deposit school district. Be prepared to provide ID and proof of residency, if asked.The child must live with you, and be in your care. Recruits, screens, trains and supports community members who are matched with identified at-risk youth for at least one year. Program participants make a significant commitment of time and energy to develop relationships devoted to personal, academic or career development, and social, athletic or artistic growth. Offers comprehensive services to the at-risk youth's family.
