Provides summer resident camp open to all girls (entering 2nd-12th grade) at Amahami Outdoor Center near Deposit. Wide range of activities such as swimming, boating, hiking, horseback riding, adventure challenges, outdoor cooking, environmental education, arts and crafts. Housing in tents and/or cabins. Manages the Toys for Tots program for families in need who reside in the Deposit Central School District. Low-income children (18 yrs or younger).To register your child call our office at 607-467-4000, or stop in during our office hours, registration begins in November.You must live within the Deposit school district. Be prepared to provide ID and proof of residency, if asked.The child must live with you, and be in your care. They must be 18 years of age or younger.We will ask you for your contact information and the following:The child's nameAgeGenderThree gifts/interests, the total of which equaling no more than $60Pick-up date is December 14, 2024If for whatever reason you cannot make it, and have no one else, call us at least one day before the gift pick up, and we can make arrangements. If you simply fail to show up, your gifts will be forfeited! We do not want your children to go without gifts, so please call us if there is an issue.

Accepts used musical instrument donations. May be dropped off at Tioughnioga Riverside Academy, 2887 NY Rt 11, Whitney Point, or call for other arrangements. Booster Club will pay for repairs.

Provides a choice pantry, where those in need can choose the food they want, of what is available, including monthly fresh vegetables. Food packages are also available for those who are in an emergency situation. Also offers holiday food baskets for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. Donations of non-perishable and holiday foods, new toys and Easter baskets are accepted.

Recruits, screens, trains and supports community members who are matched with identified at-risk youth for at least one year. Program participants make a significant commitment of time and energy to develop relationships devoted to personal, academic or career development, and social, athletic or artistic growth. Offers comprehensive services to the at-risk youth's family.

Family Reading Partnership provides a wealth of programs to surround families with stories all year long!- The Nook at Family Reading Partnership is a fun and relaxing space designed with families in mind. It is open 10am-6pm Monday and Tuesday and 10am-4pm Wednesday-Friday. All caregivers and children under five are invited to come visit to play, read, and relax together, free of charge!- Bright Red Bookshelves in over 50 locations in Tompkins County offer free, gently used books for children to take home and keep.- 7 Story Walks across Tompkins County with new books posted at each site every few months so families can visit again and again for a new adventure!- Books to Grow On gifts new books to all families from before birth through age five at a pre-natal medical visit, all child well-visits to Tompkins County medical providers, and at Kindergarten registration.- Traveling Books provides a volunteer reader and rotating collection of books to daycare providers throughout and beyond Tompkins County.Many small programs specifically serving under-resourced community members via the Tompkins County Whole Health, department of Social Services, The Child Development Council, and others.

Sign-ups for Broome County Toys for Tots will start on Monday December 2nd and will end Saturday December 14th The Broome County Toys for Tots headquarters is open Monday - Friday from 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm and Saturdays from 9am-12pm. we will also have extended hours for sign ups on Wednesday December 4th and December 11th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.Donations can be dropped off during the hours of operation until Tuesday, December 19th. Drop off barrels are located at the Binghamton Police Department, Broome County Sheriff's Office, Endicott Police Department, Johnson City Police Department, and the Vestal Police Department.
