Accepts donations of new and used furniture, doors, windows, plumbing and heating, electrical, lighting, hardware, lumber, cabinets, appliances, tile and much more. These items are kept in stock to be used for home construction and repairs or are placed in the habitat store and warehouse to be sold at bargain prices.

Offers a hot lunch, during the week, to anyone in need of a meal. Also provides a package of food to low income individuals and families, including access to the Open Closet for anyone who needs clothes.

The Children’s Clothing Closet at Dutchess Outreach provides new and gently used clothing for children of all ages, free of charge.

Sells gently-used clothing, household items, and furniture at value prices to support the workforce development programs that help people find jobs and build careers. Donations gratefully accepted.

Has inexpensive clothing, furniture, and other household goods and small appliances for sale. Proceeds go to the Chautauqua County Humane Society.

Fund raises and purchases school supplies to fill backpacks with new supplies. Then works in collaboration with various Westchester agencies who distribute the school supplies to low income children in the county. Also accepts donations of gently used school supplies for distribution to after school programs.

Accepts new, unwrapped toys for annual toy drive. Gifts are being sought for more than 750 kids in private foster homes and residential facilities.

Accepts donations of medical equipment and assistive technology, such as wheelchair lifts and so forth for use in their programs adapting homes for the disabled.

Each family is offered access (4 times annually) to the clothing bank with clothing, shoes, and linens. Also accept donations of seasonal new or gently used clothing, shoes, and linens

Offers a boutique located at the Suffolk County One-Stop Employment Center that offers individuals proper business attire for upcoming interviews without a charge. This program serves both men and women in Suffolk County who are registered with the One Stop Employment Center and have a confirmed scheduled job interview. If you are interested in donating Men’s or Women’s Business Attire (clothing, shoes, accessories, etc.) please contact Career Couture.

If you have something that you would like to donate, you may schedule a pickup Monday through Thursday between 9:00am and 1:00pm. Our current pickup areas are Bay Shore, Brentwood, Central Islip, Islip, East Islip, West Islip and Islip Terrace. Furniture donations require donors to email pictures of the items to: info@prontolongisland.org. Please do not drop off any furniture without receiving an authorization number.If you would like to donate household items, you may drop off your items during regular business hours. We only accept gently used items so please make sure there are no rips, no tears, no stains, or broken parts. We also request that furniture pictures be submitted for approval. Please email your photo to: info@prontlongisland.org and be sure to include your name, address of pickup, phone number and if there is a deadline for pickup. We will get back to you within 72 hours.
