A lifetime achievement award for volunteerism is also presented.

Any adult who is or has been involved in service to youth and families and who has contributed to the quality of life in Chemung County in unique, creative and dedicated ways.

Primary activities include the annual Pinwheels and Promises Campaign in April, for National Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Strong Kids Safe Kids free family festival each September, an annual Child Abuse Prevention Award, and other activities. Participation in the Task Force is open, and all are invited.
