311 Contact Center - City of Buffalo

A "one-stop shop" system with access to City of Buffalo services, information, and non-emergency police services. Residents can dial 311 within city limits, 716-851-4890 outside the city, visit the website, or download the BUFF311 App to report service needs, check on the status of previous service requests, or obtain information regarding city programs. A report or request can be sent anonymously through the 311 applications, made via online requests or by calling the office. However, if you choose this option, you will not be able to track the progress online. For this follow-up information, you may contact the Call Center by phone. Your anonymity will always be respected. JONES BEACH STATE PARK | JONES BEACH STATE PARK

Offers 6.5 miles of ocean beaches, part of a 2,413-acre park. Main attractions include swimming, surf fishing, and a 14,400-seat amphitheater. Facilities include pools, bathhouses, band shell, 2-mile boardwalk, 2-mile health walk, 4-mile bike path, boat basin, 4-finger piers, bait station, surf casting, picnic areas, 4 basketball courts, 22 shuffleboard courts, 8 volleyball courts, paddle tennis, equipment rentals, pitch-putt golf, 2 softball fields, food stands, boardwalk restaurant(new construction pending), ice cream parlor, and exhibits. Lifeguards available, hours and dates vary. Summer events include New York Air Show, a volleyball tournament, an Independence Day fireworks program, Summer Run Series and Pitch Putt Tournament. Empire Passport accepted no pets allowed. The Theodore Roosevelt Nature Center contains, interior and exterior environmental exhibits, a butterfly garden, and children activities. Provides a walkway from an old railroad bridge transformed into a park and walkway providing public access for pedestrians, hikers, joggers, bicyclists, and people with disabilities to the Hudson River's scenic landscape. The bridge serves as a connector to an extensive network of rail trails on both sides of the river.

Responsible for maintaining all town-designated roads, ensuring they are accessible for vehicular traffic every day, in all kinds of weather. This includes grading, paving, and sealing roadways; clearing, cleaning, and grading ditches; tree and brush trimming in the town rights of way; mowing roadsides; and plowing, salting, and sanding during the winter months.
