Provides the maintenance and enforcement of land development according to the environmental and conservation laws, including assisting the municipalities, organizations and businesses who are growing and establishing new developments or reorganizing within the county.

Processes land development applications including zoning, subdivisions, site plans and building permits. They also check applications for compliance with our Town Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision and Land Development Regulations, and refer applications to the Planning Division or Zoning Board of Appeals where necessary.
