A student may work as a sales representative or employee for wallpaper, paint, carpet, lighting, furniture or fabric stores, office furnishings or space planning suppliers. The program is composed of eight required courses and two elective courses. Course offerings include: Design Concepts, History Interiors and Furnishing, Color, Drawing I, Drawing II, Decorating and Design Applications, Materials, Business Procedures for Interior Decorators, Rendering, Lighting, Interior Decorating Resources, AutoCAD 1, Outdoor Spaces & Landscape Design and Resources: Tools of the Trade.
