Serves as a major teaching facility for the college's theater courses and is a training ground for young actors. Year-round, the stage is host for the production of children's theatre, storytelling, theatre for the deaf and an intimate forum for local playwrights and poets. The Playhouse is the site of community theater productions of musicals, dramas, comedies, cabaret acts, musical performances, dance troupes and comedians. Offers a performing arts center that is home to five intimate venues; The Concert Hall, the recital hall, the Olmsted Theatre, the dance theatre and a black box theatre. Although they are primarily used by our students and faculty throughout the academic year, all of our venues are available for rent by outside organizations. Offer a variety of classes for students of all ages and levels. Classes meet for one hour once a week and culminates to a performance. The Little Theatre classes is for young children to introduce the basics of acting, dance and music. The Core classes focuses on Acting Technique, Improv, Musical Theatre and Dance classes, which will help them learn the basics and master what they already know. The advanced classes are entered through a prerequisite: the basic acting curriculum 3 acting classes, 1 dance class, 1 improv class and 1 musical theatre class or summer theatre and 2 acting classes.
