Provides a learning laboratory where hands-on exhibits invite visitors to experiment, examine and play. Through lively interdisciplinary activities, children and adults can share in excitement of the learning process as they explore the world in which we live. Newsletter, Agency brochure, Calendar of events, educational material. Serves Nassau and Suffolk Counties and the statewide geographic area.
Offers a learning by doing philosophy through interactive exhibits and demonstrations both-in-house and through outreach programs. Works in partnership with 25 school districts, BOCES, Boy and Girl Scouts of America and the American Association of University Women.
