Works to discover and collect material that may help to establish or illustrate the history of the Town of Vestal and surrounding areas.Vestal Museum is located in the original 1881 Vestal Train Station which was located on the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad near Main Street. Group tours welcome.

Houses a local history collection, the Bob Muller Long Island Lighthouse collection, and an Irish History and Culture collection. The Local History Room also houses the collection and materials of the East Islip Historical Society. The Historical Society also provides ongoing displays, exhibits and volunteers are available Wednesdays and Saturdays from 2pm-4pm.

Preserves and exhibits local history and presents programs on local history of East Islip. Meetings are the first Wednesday of the month (except for January and February, July and August). Call for location and additional information.

Contains a variety of library and archival materials: books, pamphlets, maps, records and manuscripts, periodical series, genealogies, photographs, family records, and government documents relating to Long Island history and the history of Bridgehampton and its surrounding communities.

Features a research department specializing in the history of the New England States. Librarians and materials are available to help meet a wide range of information needs, from family history and genealogy to in-depth research on people, places, and events in the Syracuse area.
