Residences for People With Chronic Substance Use Disorders
* Provides Next Step Supportive Living Apartments: a 21-bed program licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), consisting of several apartment and housing sites within walking distance of desired community resources, which have staff available to all residents 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Residents are encouraged to continue rehabilitative treatment as needed, and to begin pursuing any educational or vocational goals they have identified.

* Provides Permanent Supportive Housing/MRT PSH Program: an OASAS program geared towards individuals and families in recovery who are currently homeless or are at risk of homelessness, with the goal of assisting tenants with successfully transitioning into permanent housing.
  • Apartments are turnkey and all tenants have the option to take over responsibility of the lease where they are residing when it is determined Permanent Supportive Housing services are no longer needed.

Family Assistance & Reunification Program: Group counseling with family members of substance abusers. Emphasis is placed on education, intervention, communication, understanding, and support. Linkage: Connects individuals in need of treatment and rehab with area providers. Wraparound service provided after inpatient care has been completed. Prevention & Education: Outreach programs aimed at substance abuse prevention. Supportive Living: Housing for individuals who are homeless and/or have problems staying sober. Housing includes a single room, shared living space and kitchen, cable, local phone, and on-site washer and dryer. Supportive Services to individuals who have completed treatment including case management, peer and individual counseling (including spiritual counseling), and supportive groups.
