Provides comprehensive treatment, recovery, and support services for individuals and families impacted by mental health and substance use challenges. Services offered include individual and group counseling, medical and psychiatric care, family support coordination, addiction medicine consultations, opiate overdose prevention training, recovery coaching and peer support services, care coordination, community outreach and education, harm reduction services, a therapy dog program, and more. Provides free fentanyl test strips, xylazine test strips, and/or naloxone (Narcan) to households that request them to help prevent and/or reduce overdoses from opioids.

Provides free Narcan training and access to free Narcan to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.

Works to identify barriers and develop solutions through multisector partnerships to reduce overdoses in Broome County. This is accomplished by community education, reducing stigma, amplifying the voice of persons who use drugs, and promoting harm reduction.

* Supports the selling and furnishing of sterile syringes without a medical prescription in quantities of ten (10), including the proper disposal of used syringes.* Provides a resource that offers options for the safe disposal of used "sharps" - syringes, needles and lancets - to reduce the transmission of blood borne diseases, minimizing environmental waste and creating safer jurisdictions for the community and emergency medical staff.

* Offers Syringe Exchange Programs (SEPs), which provide new, sterile syringes, naloxone/Narcan, HIV/HCV testing and an array of counseling/educational services at locations throughout New York State. Drug User Health Hubs are co-located at SEPs and provide accessible primary care, medication for opioid use disorder and Hepatitis C care and treatment. Locations are partnered community organizations.

* Provides access to MOUD (Medications for Opiate Use Disorder) - Suboxone. * Offers overdose prevention training, overdose aftercare counseling, drug checking, and safety planning services. * Offers on-site free Narcan (naloxone) training and kit access. * Assists individuals with accessing other substance use treatment services. * Offers training to providers to ensure cultural comprehensiveness of services for medical, behavioral health, and substance use services for people who use and inject drugs.

Provides injection supplies (syringes, alcohol wipes, antiseptic towelettes, etc.) in order to prevent the spread of HIV, Viral Hepatitis C, and other blood borne illnesses. Accepts used syringes from community members and participants. Mobile services by appointment in: Chemung, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Otsego, and Tioga Counties.

Provides free trainings to the community about Narcan (naloxone), a medicine that can reverse an opioid overdose and offers free Narcan kits while supplies are available.

Provides HIV prevention and harm reduction services to drug users, including syringe exchange. Services also include needs assessment, drug checking, HIV/Hepatitis testing, recovery readiness counseling, opioid overdose prevention, peer support, case management, MOUD access, and treatment linkage.

A 20-bed program providing stabilization services in a residential setting to men and women over 18, targeting individuals in need of medically supervised detoxification services; individuals experiencing mild withdrawal or significant urges for illicit substances that cannot be managed in an outpatient setting; and/or individuals who need residential care.

Fentanyl testing strips are used to test for the presence or absence of fentanyl and many fentanyl analogs (very closely related drugs).Someone is in the office MOST of the time during the day, so it's best to call or message first.
