Persons who are age 18 years or older may legally obtain and possess hypodermic needles and syringes through ESAP without a medical prescription.
Licensed pharmacies, health care facilities, and health care practitioners who can otherwise prescribe hypodermic needles or syringes may register with the New York State Department of Health to sell or furnish up to 10 hypodermic needles or syringes to persons 18 years of age or older.
Used needles or syringes can be safely and anonymously disposed of at dedicated disposal kiosks throughout Erie County; see separate listing, Needle Disposal - ECDOH, for details.

SMART RECOVERY - A recovery group that focuses on accountibility and learning new, healthy habits through open discussions about personal choices and options. Mondays from 2pm-3pm.
MEN'S GROUP - An education and discussion recovery group for men in the community led by a recovery coach with personal recovery. Mondays from 2pm-3pm.
RECOVERY NOW - A peer-led support group for early risers that also provides assistance with drug court. Tuesdays from 8:15am-9:15am.
SMART RECOVERY FOR FAMILY & FRIENDS - a support group for family & friends affected by someone using substances, coping skills, effective methods for helping and ways to remain healthy are discussed. Tuesdays from 5:30pm-6:30pm.
CELEBRATE RECOVERY - A faith-based recovery group led by community members. Tuesdays from 6:30pm-7:30pm.
LIVING WELL - A seven week life-skills group facilitated by local volunteers from Lockport CARES. Wednesdays from 9:30am-11:30am.
SERENITY CIRCLE - A peer-led discussion group facilitated by two recovery coaches. Wednesdays from 12noon-1pm.
EPIC Parenting Class - A 10-week, evidence-based parenting class run by EPIC employees. A court-approved certification is awarded at the completion of the 10 classes. Must pre-register to attend. Wednesdays from 12:30pm-1:30pm.
