Provides individual and group counseling for substance use disorders. Offers a variety of services including same day evaluations, medication assisted treatment (methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone), specialized group therapy, vocational services and activity therapy. Groups offered include Day Treatment, Structured Outpatient and Evening Treatment. Specialized groups include gender specific, co-occurring disorders, older adults, patients with legal involvement, Spanish speaking and Recovery Challenge group that specializes in services for patients with traumatic brain injury, learning/developmental disability, or history of special education.

Psychiatric evaluations and peer services are also available for program participants.

St. Joseph's operates an inpatient AOD inpatient program, but it is not a contracted service through the County.

A specialized program for the Hearing Impaired is provided by a licensed clinician trained in Sign language. Provides full medical and psychiatric evaluation/assessment, including individual, group and family counseling, along with literacy, pre-GED and career assistance. Clients learn the skills necessary to lead an alcohol/drug free lifestyle and to make positive decision in their lives. The program is also based on the 12-step disease model and offers the DMV mandated DWI program. Services also provided for Spanish speaking individuals.
