Provides a social day care program for the frail elderly, including transportation within our catchment area, hot meal, blood pressure screening, recreation, arts and crafts, music therapy, exercise therapy, trips, outings, and parties. Serves frail, elderly, at-risk or isolated persons over age of 60 with one or more physical or mental deficits who are continent, able to feed and toilet themselves and work in a group.

Music-assisted relaxation approaches are effective for people requiring rehabilitation and anyone needing stress relief. one is a Drumming Workshop and the other Stress Management Through Music. ADRC’s Music Therapy Program is ideally suited for individuals with early to moderate stage Alzheimer’s disease or a related cognitive disorder. Each session runs for one hour at our headquarters.

Rockland Conservatory provides Individual Lessons, Audio Engineering, Youth Chorus, and Creative Aging Initiative. Also, Main Street Singers chorus, Songwriting Workshop, Music Therapy: Individual sessions and groups for physically and mentally challenged children, teen & adults in collaboration with Music For Life Creative Arts, Therapeutic choirs: Teens on the Autism Spectrum, All Tuned In, for seniors in partnership with Meals on Wheels.
