Offers individuals, couples or families a safe non-judgmental environment utilizing horses as a catalyst for change. Offers therapy sessions for individuals suffering from anxiety, PTSD, trauma, loss, depression, regulating emotions, and adolescent issues.

Provides an environment of support which allows individuals with emotional, physical and social disabilities to expand their boundaries.

Offers several programs for individuals over the age of 18 with developmental disabilities. Therapeutic horseback riding, pet therapy and day habilitation programs are provided. Pre-vocational, group and supplemental programs are offered after hours and on Saturdays. Call for more information.

Provides a therapeutic horseback riding program to help benefit those with disabilities by stretching the mind and muscles. Teaches horseback riding to students who are physically, mentally, or emotionally challenged and those who are visually or hearing impaired.

Mounted lessons may take place in the indoor or outdoor arenas or along our sensory trail. We have a wheelchair lift to mount riders with mobility issues & have volunteers who serve as leaders and side-walkers as needed. All activities and timing will be tailored to the rider’s individual needs. Lessons are typically 45 min, with 30-45 minutes on the horse. First-time riders at Topfield must have their individual needs assessed by our Instructional and Program staff before the first lesson. This is an additional booking that will need to be scheduled before the mounted lesson.

Provides the following clinical services: Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Psychiatry, Rehabilitation Counseling, and Psychology/Evaluation/Diagnosis. Provides professional horseback riding lessons for all skill levels and age groups. Offers therapeutic riding lessons, training for the Special Olympics along with equestrian activities for children, summer horse and pony clubs. Volunteer opportunities for students (12 and up) and adults are available.

Provides equestrian-related activities that offer therapeutic benefits for children and adults with various disabilities, including Cerebral Palsy, developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Trisomy 21, anxiety, and others.

Provides a variety of equestrian therapy programs for individuals with disabilities. Equestrian programs allow individuals to relate to, handle, groom, and ride horses as part of a therapy program in which the horse serves as a co-therapist.

Heritage Christian Stables instructors are accredited by Professional Association for Therapeutic Horsemanship, International.

* Offers weekly riding programs seasonally and by appointment to children with special needs.

Equestrian therapy for veterans.

ADRC’s Equine Therapy Program runs one outing per month. They take place from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. A bus leaves and returns to AERC headquarters. Participants travelling directly to Blossom Hollow Farm should plan to arrive by 10 a.m. Casual dress, “outdoor” shoes, and a change of clothing are recommended, as some activities take place in the farm’s stables. A boxed lunch is served.

HorseAbility offers a variety of Equine Assisted Services for therapy, recreation, sport, education and/or wellness. Qualified instructors develop lesson plans that may involve riding, driving, or ground-based activities (e.g., grooming, handling, leading, observing). Through these activities participants can attain individualized horsemanship skills, and allow for the natural benefits of working with horses. No formal diagnosis is required for participation in our riding programs. HorseAbility’s lessons are open to all riders of any ability aged 3-adult.

Provides participants with the opportunity to ride horses while improving their posture,balance,mobility, and function. Benefits may also include improved muscle tone, cognition, coordination, and motor development.

Offers riders the opportunity for personal growth and development through therapeutic riding and horsemanship. Structured, one hour, off-horse field trips are available for groups of up to 10 participants. Volunteer opportunities available.

Therapeutic and recreational horseback riding. A physical therapist is available for those needing physical assistance. Competitions are available to participants with disabilities.
