Provides an environment of support which allows individuals with emotional, physical and social disabilities to expand their boundaries.

* Manages a farm with horses, goats, chickens, ducks, and a rabbit where people can walk for exercise or see the animals.
* Host a monthly Lecture Series from April to November.
* Hosts a Parkinson's Support Group.

* Provides a therapeutic horseback riding program to benefit children and adults with developmental disabilities. Nationally certified instructors and specially trained horses and volunteers. Heritage Christian Stables instructors are accredited by Professional Association for Therapeutic Horsemanship, International.

Provides professional horseback riding lessons for all skill levels and age groups. Offers therapeutic riding lessons, training for the Special Olympics along with equestrian activities for children, summer horse and pony clubs. Volunteer opportunities for students (12 and up) and adults are available.

Mounted lessons may take place in the indoor or outdoor arenas or along our sensory trail. We have a wheelchair lift to mount riders with mobility issues & have volunteers who serve as leaders and side-walkers as needed. All activities and timing will be tailored to the rider’s individual needs. Lessons are typically 45 min, with 30-45 minutes on the horse. First-time riders at Topfield must have their individual needs assessed by our Instructional and Program staff before the first lesson. This is an additional booking that will need to be scheduled before the mounted lesson.

Equestrian therapy for people with developmental disabilities.

This program serves children and adults who suffer from physical and cognitive challenges including Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Down Syndrome, Spina Bifida, brain injuries, visual impairments, and also benefits those with learning, language, cognitive or sensory impairments.

Provides participants with the opportunity to ride horses while improving their posture,balance,mobility, and function. Benefits may also include improved muscle tone, cognition, coordination, and motor development.

Helps people with special needs develop strength, confidence, and increased self esteem. Offers private 30 minute sessions, as well as group sessions.

Equestrian therapy for veterans.

Our mission is to rescue animals who are abused, neglected, or unwanted and provide a loving home for them. We embrace the empathic gifts that come naturally to the horses to assist struggling humans. Through groundwork equine therapy, we empower those living in grief, allowing for healing and providing steps toward creating a new life, all through forming a special bond with an equally vulnerable animal. Country line dancing classes are offered on Monday nights, as well as a monthly Barn Dance.

* Provides a therapeutic riding (TR) program in which individuals with physical, emotional, mental, or social challenges interact with horses both on the ground and in the saddle.

* Provides a variety of horse related services including: Therapeutic Riding. Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. Equine Assisted Learning. Special Olympics. Common Ground Natural Horsemanship. Services for Veterans and Military Members. Traditional Riding Lessons.

* Offers non-therapy equine services including: Adaptive equestrian sport. Therapeutic riding.

Offers riders the opportunity for personal growth and development through therapeutic riding and horsemanship. Structured, one hour, off-horse field trips are available for groups of up to 10 participants. Volunteer opportunities available.

HorseAbility offers a variety of Equine Assisted Services for therapy, recreation, sport, education and/or wellness. Qualified instructors develop lesson plans that may involve riding, driving, or ground-based activities (e.g., grooming, handling, leading, observing). Through these activities participants can attain individualized horsemanship skills, and allow for the natural benefits of working with horses. No formal diagnosis is required for participation in our riding programs. HorseAbility’s lessons are open to all riders of any ability aged 3-adult.

Offers individuals, couples or families a safe non-judgmental environment utilizing horses as a catalyst for change. Offers therapy sessions for individuals suffering from anxiety, PTSD, trauma, loss, depression, regulating emotions, and adolescent issues.

* Helps people with different challenges by letting them ride horses.

Provides a therapeutic horseback riding program to help benefit those with disabilities by stretching the mind and muscles. Teaches horseback riding to students who are physically, mentally, or emotionally challenged and those who are visually or hearing impaired.

* Offers weekly riding programs seasonally and by appointment to children with special needs.
