Provides comprehensive rehabilitation services consisting of diagnostic, evaluative, and therapeutic services to children with known or suspected disabilities. Center also supports the Regional Perinatal Center of WNY, and the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Western New York that has the full scope of pediatric subspecialists required to operate a Level III NICU. Each center or program is comprised of an interdisciplinary team of specialists specifically selected to meet patients' needs. Services are family focused and provided in conjunction with pediatricians and community resources. Clinics offered include: Motor Clinic, Spina Bifida Clinic, Spasticity Clinic, Early Neurodevelopmental Clinic, Comprehensive Developmental Clinic, Feeding Disorders Clinic, Down Syndrome Program, Speech and Hearing Program, Orthopedic Rehabilitation Program, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Adaptive Seating Program and Aquatic Therapy.

Provides diagnostic evaluations and psychological services to adults, adolescents, children and families of diverse cultural backgrounds who are having, behavioral, emotional, learning or adjustment problems. Emphasis is placed on clarifying problem areas, developing realistic goals and providing active short-term treatment. The full psychological evaluation consists of a biographical data review, psychological testing and assessment, an interpretive conference and a written report. Psychotherapeutic programs for behavior change include: Anger management, stress reduction, parent skills training, marriage and family counseling, and counseling for adults and children who have been abused. Consultation with school districts and other professional organizations are also available to develop programs within school and professional settings. The center offers comprehensive outpatient medical, habilitative, and rehabilitative services with special emphasis to persons with disabilities. In addition to primary medical care for adults the following specialty clinics are available: audiology, dental, gynecology, neurology, dermatology, neuropsychology, occupational and physical therapy, ophthalmology, orthopedic, podiatry, psychiatry, psychology (testing and counseling), physiatry, social work counseling, and speech and language pathology.

Provides a short-term, medically supervised outpatient services for adults 18 years of age and older. Offers an alternative for a person who is transitioning from inpatient to outpatient care.

Assists children and their families with a multidisciplinary team to provide support during and after treatment. Provides services to children ages 5 to 18 years, who have problems that range from mild behavior disorders to psychiatric illnesses.

Provides up to 12 months of intensive and comprehensive evidence-based treatment for youth and young adults who struggle with thoughts of suicide.

Clinic services include initial intake screening within the next business day and same day Urgent Care intake screening; comprehensive behavioral health assessment, screening, and monitoring; individual, couples, family and group therapy settings; and psychiatric evaluation which includes medication therapy and medication education and family support and education. Also offers to clients symptom management, support, case management and crisis intervention with face-to-face outreach and complex case management as needed. Provides behavioral health (mental health and substance use disorder) screening; developmental testing; psychiatric rehabilitation readiness and referral.

Provides educational services to assist children with disabilities including: infants, preschoolers, adolescents and young adults needing early intervention, preschool and schoolage educational and therapeutic services, so that students are physically and academically prepared for maximum independence, and when appropriate, participate in their own community schools. Programs include: The Early Intervention Program (for children birth to age 3), The Pre-School Division (ages3-5), Ungraded Kindergarten through Grade 2 (ages 5-7), and The Schoolage Program (ages 5-21). Offers unique and technologically advanced treatments for patients whose fears inhibit their quality of life. The clinic has also successfully treated clients with post-traumatic stress disorder, a condition caused by an unusually devastating and/or tragic experience. Some common phobias treated at the clinic include: travel on airplanes, trains; public speaking; animals and heights. The center also treats patients with PTSD. The Saltzman Center is open Monday through Saturday. All therapy services are by appointment only. Fees are set at the time therapy is initiated.
