Offers training programs for teens and adults focused on youth, teens and adults. A five-step action plan is available to help an adolescent showing signs and symptoms of a mental health concern or in an emotional crisis. Services include an eight-hour training class and certification.

Assists individuals who are dealing with illness of Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and Binge Eating Disorder. Treatment services provided include: health screening, coordination of care with medical doctor, psychosocial evaluation, psychiatric evaluation, nutritional assessment, psycho-educational groups, weight monitoring, group therapy, meal planning, individual therapy, family therapy, medication education, stress management, supportive meal and snacks. NEDA supports individuals and families affected by eating disorders, and helps with prevention, cures and access to quality care.

Offers integrated mental health services for individuals, families, adolescents and children. Psychiatry treatment is coordinated with patient's medical provider using a holistic approach to care. Services are short-term offering a solution focused model of care. Preventative screenings for social and emotional concerns are also offered. Individuals or families needing more intensive care will be referred to appropriate services outside of Open Door.

This is program is for children and adolescents who need intensive psychiatric services for emotional or behavioral challenges. The team focuses on helping children and adolescents improve their self-esteem by building on the things they are good at and enjoy.

Evaluates and treats children in the inpatient unit, aged 5-13 years, for emotional and behavioral problems, using short term stays (1-12 weeks). Discharge planning includes school placement, outpatient follow-up and family support. Also provides outpatient psychiatric evaluations and treatment for children, adolescents and families including medical assessments of medication for behavior disorders, school psychiatric evaluations, preschool assessment, forensic evaluation for various externalizing disorders such as affective disorders, hyperactivity, attention, impulsivity and conduct problems, affective disorders such as depression and/or mania and developmental disorders and language problems.

Provides a 24/7 community based crisis service for Suffolk County residents struggling with behavioral, mental health, and substance abuse issues. Delivers short-term patient centered care (up to 23 hours, 59 minutes) by an interdisciplinary team focusing on early intervention and crisis resolution. Offers rapid assessment, triage, stabilization, a sobering unit and case management with referrals to longer term outpatient services or a more acute level of care.

This is a program for Veterans with PTSD, TBI, and other disabilities whereby they receive peer support from other Veterans trained in military behavioral health.

An innovative outpatient treatment program for adolescents and young adults who may be experiencing mental health issues. OnTrackNY helps these individuals through their Coordinated Specialty Care Team.

This service replaces the Targeted Case Management Services. This agency contracts with Adirondack Health Institute (AHI) and provides linkage and supports to assist individuals with their mental and physical health care needs. OMH funded and contract with Health Home and DOH.
