Provides a 24-hour mental health intake and intervention hotline for anyone who is struggling with a situation, feels overwhelmed with life, feels suicidal, or feels that they cannot cope with daily living, and may need immediate help and transportation to an psychiatric emergency center.

Provides psychiatric evaluation, group therapy, psychopharmocology, as well as full inpatient mental health services.

Provides various mental health services, such as assessment and treatment, individual, family and group therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication monitoring. Also offer coping skills for depression, anxiety, aging issues, retirement, disability and relationship issues.

Assists children and their families with a multidisciplinary team to provide support during and after treatment. Provides services to children ages 5 to 18 years, who have problems that range from mild behavior disorders to psychiatric illnesses.

Provides a 24-hour telephone evaluation service for individuals, family members and friends of those with mental illness. Services include evaluation if an individual is suicidal, homicidal, or at risk to harm themselves or others. This is an evaluation service, not a helpline or support chat line.

Open Access Hours are Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-2:00pm at 201 E. Green Street, Ithaca.Anyone who lives or works in Tompkins County is welcome to walk in, complete the intake packet, and have their initial appointment that day. In the event that the schedule has already filled up for that day, they will be scheduled for the next day that they are available to come in.If the individual is unable to attend during these hours, please call 607-274-6200 and ask to speak with our intake coordinator, Melissa Kilanowski about scheduling a time.

St. Mary's Behavioral Health Services offers information on adult and children's psychiatric evaluations. The St. Mary's Children's Mental Health Clinic provides outpatient mental health services for seriously emotionally disturbed children up to 18 years of age and their families who reside in Fulton, Montgomery and Hamilton counties. Limited evening and and Saturday appointments may be available upon request. St. Mary's Emergency Services provides 24-hour-contact with mental health services including emergency telephone counseling. Other services include in-person evaluations, intervention and assessment.

Provides outpatient mental health services (individual, group, family psychotherapy, and medication management) to youth ages 5 to 21 years old manifesting with moderate to severe emotional disturbance.

CTRC houses an adult outpatient clinic which offers comprehensive mental health services to individuals with qualifying DSM-IV diagnosis. Self-referrals accepted.

Provides outpatient mental health services, including medication management, to individuals ages 18 years and older.

Process by which children's mental health community-based services are accessed by which level of service recommendations are reached. May be done through a phone screening, child/ family assessment meeting, collaboration with the referral source and other current providers, record review, and presentation to the SPOA Committee for service planning.

Gatekeeper assists and engages older adults, 55+, who live independently and may be at risk of mental health issues, including depression and anxiety and would benefit from case management services.

Offers outpatient programs and a wide range of services by mental health professionals. Our staff includes psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed clinical social workers and activities therapists. Patients can join individual, group and family psychotherapy, and we offer specialized services for depression, anxiety and childhood emotional disorders. Specific programs include: Adult Psychotherapy Program for individual or group therapy; Family and Children's Program offering individual, group and family psychotherapy for children and their families and Options for more intensive care at South Nassau: Partial Hospitalization Program, five days weekly; Intensive Outpatient Program, three days weekly and Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit. An outpatient treatment center offering: assessments, psychiatric evaluations, medication management and ancillary withdrawal (suboxone induction & maintenance) along with outpatient individual and group treatment services for adults, young adults/adolescents and significant others/family members. Specialized programs include but are limited to: women, co-occurring disorders, DWI's, criminal justice population, domestic violence and young adults/adolescents.

Provides emergency psychiatric assessment and intervention for children, youth (to age 24) and their families. Responds to critical incidents.

Evaluates and treats children in the inpatient unit, aged 5-13 years, for emotional and behavioral problems, using short term stays (1-12 weeks). Discharge planning includes school placement, outpatient follow-up and family support. Also provides outpatient psychiatric evaluations and treatment for children, adolescents and families including medical assessments of medication for behavior disorders, school psychiatric evaluations, preschool assessment, forensic evaluation for various externalizing disorders such as affective disorders, hyperactivity, attention, impulsivity and conduct problems, affective disorders such as depression and/or mania and developmental disorders and language problems.

Provides a free anonymous mental health and alcohol education screening program for military personnel and their families, in all branches, including National Guard and Reserve. The self-assessment is a series of questions that help create a picture of a person is feeling and whether they could benefit from further evaluation and treatment.

Outpatient psychiatric services available to children, adolescents and their families. Common childhood emotional and behavioral problems, such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, are assessed and treated. Psychological and neuropsychological evaluations, medication, play therapy, and parent counseling for enrolled clinic patients are among the services available.
