Probation supervision and treatment of youth who have committed sexual offenses.

Provides supervised recreational programs, informal counseling/crisis intervention, special events, community outreach, education, information and referral services. Operates a drop-in lounge for neighborhood youth and homework help program is available.

Offers home visits, special needs assessment, case management, safety planning, counseling, home security surveys and lock installations, and linkages to caregiver services for older adults who have been a victim of robbery or have witnessed a crime.

Assists individuals in recognizing obstacles in their lives, developing personal goals and skills to achieve those goals. Provides opportunities for individuals to experience personal growth, manage conflicts between family and employment demands. Assists individuals to improve job skills, expand problem solving abilities, master budgeting and time management. Also operates food pantry.

Provides treatment for individuals who have been diagnosed with mental or emotional disorders with the objective of helping them to eliminate or reduce the severity of their symptoms.

The CBHC works with East End communities to raise awareness and sensitivity about mental illness, create linkages for assistance, provide education, and strengthen family support. CBHC will host educational workshops for professionals, lay people and children on issues impacting emotional well-being in children including suicide prevention. Social workers provide referrals and information to east end families struggling to reach their goals. Chat and Chill groups are held in Montauk and Bridgehampton for east end young adults (ages 18-30) affected by suicide.

Provides professional, affordable psychoanalysis and psychotherapy to Long Island and the surrounding area. Programs include: Psychotherapy; Child, Adolescent, and Family Psychotherapy; Older Adult Psychotherapy and Marital and Couples Therapy. Offers individual, family, and group counseling for child victims, non-offending parents and adult survivors of child sexual abuse. Provides risk assessment evaluations and group and individual treatment of youth with problematic sexual behavior.

A comprehensive program in a smoke-free facility, including individual & group counseling, 12 Step programs, DWI screening & assessments, day programs serving lunch, dual-focus treatment, probation & parole referrals, drug court assistance, health seminars, HIV testing, life skills development, crisis intervention services, and gender specific groups.

Services to all victims of crime including sexual assault and domestic violence. These services include crime victim board claims, court accompaniment, counseling and referral, crisis response to police, hospitals and support groups. Also provides community education to schools, law enforcement and civic groups. Staff or volunteers provide crisis response to hotline calls 24 hours per day, seven days a week.

Provides following services for people living within boundaries of the parish: advocacy information and referral food pantry volunteer driving funds for transportation to DSS referrals for clothing and furniture through the St. Vincent de Paul Society thrift shop and various support groups (bereavement, moms and tots, caregivers).

Provides an array of peer services for veterans, including support groups (facilitated by veterans), family support, case management, and Compeer CORPS (mentors who are veterans matched with other veterans for socialization, friendship, and weekly activities).

Offers veterans and their families residing in Nassau or Suffolk County a six-week workshop focusing on issues military families commonly encounter. Provides participants with strategies to deal with the stress of deployment, combat and re-transition home along with information on the root causes of stress and substance abuse. Aims to enhance family empathy, clarify family boundaries, roles and responsibilities, foster communication and resiliency.
