Individual and group counseling for parents who are separating or who are already separated or divorced with an emphasis on the well-being of the children.

Provides counseling and other mental health support to children and adolescents. Also helps family to manage other support services which may be needed.

Provides counseling for families and married couples, along with psychiatric rehabilitation, for those who have had a family member diagnosed with a psychiatric disorder.

Provides medical, mental health and massage therapy services to adults with HIV/AIDS. Also offers counseling, outpatient, nutrition, housing, legal and social support services. A satellite Center of Southampton Hospital.

Offers services to schools in providing guidance and support to deal with issues of loss and grief among students. Services include training, workshops on loss and grief for students and staff, consultations with teachers, guidance staff and students, resource materials, and assistance with bereavement group sessions for students.

Probation supervision and treatment of youth who have committed sexual offenses.

Serves disabled adolescents, ages eleven through fourteen. This program provides an enriched educational environment that incorporates the Common Core Learning Standard while responding to many of the studentsâ social and psychological needs. Beyond basic academic instructions, many students receive services from consulting psychiatrist either employed by the Office of Mental Health or BOCES and participate in a wide range of extracurricular activities. The classroom teacher, the paraprofessional(s), a psychologist and a social worker assigned to each classroom unit create a team approach. Outreach services to involve families within the school community is an integral part of the Middle School Program. Also offered is the The PASS program at the Brennan Middle/High School. This program is serving disabled and non-disabled students of middle and high school ages. This program offers a highly structured environment in which instructional and behavioral deficits can be addressed within a small group setting for high school aged students. The educational environment parallels that of the Brennan High School. Students may or may not be classified as special education students. All are in need of alternative education. Truancy, non-compliance with school rules and generally disruptive behavior often characterize a student in crisis; such a student is appropriate for the PASS program. Students who are at risk due to poor achievement may also be referred to this program where they will be afforded many support services to ensure success.

Offers wide range of mental health services, including evaluation, crisis intervention, and on-going therapy for a full range of psychiatric disorders.

Conducts 10 week support groups for recently divorced/separated persons, single parent, teens of divorced/separated families, caretakers of the ill or elderly. New parents, bereaved persons. Separate bereavement groups address loss of spouse, loss of parent (for teens), loss of parent (for adults) and loss of grandparent. Dates vary. Call for details or to join.

Provides primary medical care, podiatry, psychiatry, psychology services, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech/language therapy. Offers a safe place where victims can go to talk with a counselor, get legal help such as obtaining an Order of Protection and child support, learn about making a safety plan, find out about domestic violence shelter services, access public assistance, spiritual support and much more.

Provides an emergency shelter and crisis intervention services for runaway and homeless youth. Assist youth while they work out family conflict or emergency, court placement, or other issues.

Westchester residents (adult and children) diagnosed with any terminal illness and must meet Medicare guidelines for Hospice Care.

Provides individual and group bereavement counseling, child abuse counseling, crisis intervention to people experiencing stressful situations such as death of a family member, separation or divorce, severe accident or illness, surgery, rape, child abuse, loss of job or home.

Provides assessment and treatment for families impacted by abuse. Services include psychiatric care, medication management if needed, and referrals for legal or housing issues.

Provides a support group for individuals age 18-40 years coping with cancer as well as therapeutic support and professional counseling. Call for an appointment. Referral required. Serves Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Offers a multi-level and multi-component program designed to prevent and reduce bullying, and provides the staff to consult with school administration on instituting a comprehensive bully prevention program in their school. Services also include consultation for parents and professionals, counseling for teens, information and resources, bully prevention helpline, training workshops, and programs.

Provides weekly group and family counseling, monthly classes, information and referral, evaluation/intakes, medical/psychological evaluations, divorce mediation and legal counseling to women experiencing mental health, substance abuse, battering or oppression issues.Call for information. Offers a broad spectrum of programs and services that are highly specialized to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities, ages 5-21. Classes are offered in Academic and Learning Centers, as well as in a number of component district buildings. Eastern Suffolk BOCES students in included settings are provided opportunities for inclusion in general education academic classes, special subject classes, and building-wide activities while receiving support from Eastern Suffolk BOCES staff. All programs are dedicated to the ongoing enhancement of service to students with the goal of maximizing each student’s potential to achieve a productive and rewarding life. Provides the help to children heal from the violence and abuse that they have witnessed or experienced, through information and referrals, individual and group counseling and support groups (in English and Spanish).

Offers individual, family and group counseling, behavior management as well as information and referral for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism and their families. A therapeutic, adult, social, and recreational club meet weekly to work on goals that include increasing socialization and self-advocacy skills. Provides individual counseling to children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders who would benefit from working with a skilled clinician in a one-to-one setting. The issues addressed depend on the needs of the client, and on the challenges of living with autism. Also offers parent discussions groups and counseling looking for support in raising a child with autism.

Provides counseling and therapy for individuals who are struggling with emotional issues, such as depression, anxiety, family conflict, etc.
