This service allows people with disabilities to meet and talk with STIC staff who also have disabilities. Peer Advocates assist consumers to navigate the barriers they may face adjusting to a disability, or to finding solutions to everyday issues that they encounter.

* Provides confidential healing process for women and men who have been affected by an abortion. Serve all people regardless of beliefs or faith traditions. Session times and locations are arranged between the caller and the companion guide.

Helps with housekeeping or personal care so older adults can stay in their own homes for a longer length of time.

Offers testing and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases-confidential HIV testing, Hepatitis C testing, and PrEP education and referrals.

Professional counselors provide counseling for people who have been victims of violent crime, rape, abuse, or domestic violence. Provides individual/group counseling to adults and children. Counseling services available to victims, their families, and friends. Counseling services generally limited to 12 sessions; no fee. Long-term counseling available to those who meet eligibility requirements.

Provides clinical assessments and treatment services to youth who have a history of committing sexually harmful acts or have been victims themselves.

The Center for Problem Gambling provides specialized counseling treatment to problem gamblers and their family members through individual, group, family and marital counseling. The Center for Problem Gambling also provides community presentations to increase awareness about the problems of compulsive gambling.

Provides free counseling and case management services for children and adults that have been a victim of a crime such as sexual/physical abuse or witness to violence. Also provides free educational programs to community caregivers, agencies, schools, clubs, or business to help provide information on sex abuse, safe dating, human trafficking, or custom a program to fit the needs of individual or group.

Includes 4 programs:Jack O'Rourke Family Counseling Program: Provides long and short-term counseling to individuals, couples and families around a variety of issues by NYS Licensed Clinical Social Workers.Functional Family Therapy (FFT): An intensive outreach family counseling program operating in collaboration with DSS.Gateway Center for Youth: A free and confidential counseling program that offers short- term individual and psycho- educational group counseling (anger management, self- esteem, social skills, and parenting) to youth ages 8 to 21.Family Navigator Services: provided to youth and their families either when they don't meet criteria for other programs or have not been connected to them.

Answers questions; provides information; and offers support on health and health insurance post enrollment-related issues so that individuals and families get health care they need.

Provides congregate care for children birth to 21 years of age who have a range of developmental, behavioral, and mental health issues that can't be managed in their home residence and have been abused, neglected and severely traumatized by their parent or guardian.

* Offers vision rehabilitation services for individuals with vision that includes: Low Vision Evaluations - specialized lenses, visual aids, magnifiers. InSight Shop - full service non-optical store, offering adaptive devices, visual aids, talking watches & clocks, cooking aids, large print items, frames, magnifiers, lighting, and adapted toys for sale. Vision Rehabilitation/adaptive skills training for activities of daily living. Orientation and mobility travel training. Social work/case management services. Support groups available - 3rd TU of month 10:00AM-12:00PM. Call for accessibility needs. * Offers vocational/employment services that include: assessment, placement, job supports and training, follow-up. * Offers Adaptive Technology services - to support vocational/educational goals - adaptations for computers, specialized software and hardware by referral of a New York State Commission for the Blind vocational rehabilitation counselor.* Provides children's services that include: Monthly recreation programs for children who are legally blind and their families. Parent support/education group/Family Resource Center.* Provides community education and outreach services.

Provides services to youth who are at risk of becoming involved with human trafficking or youth who are already a victim.
