The Sterling community center (SCC) is a person-centered, recovery-oriented, community-based center for adults who are diagnosed with psychiatric disabilities. The center offers activities, classes, and volunteer opportunities designed to help participants work towards individual life goals, and provide opportunities to learn new skills, establish social networks, participate in volunteer activities, develop employment opportunities and acquire mutual support.

School-Based Mental Health Services (SBMHS) are mental health service provider programs licensed by the NYS Office of Mental Health, which operates on-site within a school facility. A School-Based clinic operates in the school setting at minimum one day per week and can be based on the level of need of the student population.

Offers individuals with developmental disabilities, a comprehensive clinic which helps them and their families with mental health concerns, and medication management.

Provides crisis counseling, individual/group/family therapy, psychiatric assessments, medication therapy, and case management to children, youth and adults to prevent family decomposition and hospitalization.

PROS is a comprehensive recovery oriented program for adult individuals with the goal of integrating treatment, support and rehabilitation in a manner that facilitates the individual’s recovery.

Operates a Single Point of Access (SPOA) which is a centralized intake process for referrals for high-intensity mental health services for adults who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness (SMI) and whose illness interferes with their ability to function in the community, home, school, and/or work. Referrals are evaluated to determine eligibility for Care Coordination, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) or Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT). Provide a spot for participants to socialize and enjoy recreational and leisure time activities with their peers. Most locations provide a healthy dinner during program hours. Members are asked to participate in development of the activities, serving dinner and other chores. Referral services are available in such areas as care management, pre-employment, vocational, housing, and benefits.

Offers fully integrated mental health and substance use disorder treatment and services for adolescents and adults. Offers after-hours supportive care for individuals experiencing a non-life threatening behavioral health situation during the time when their normal clinic is closed. Clients can get a short-term medication refill, talk with a supportive person, or simply make use of a safe, quiet space to de-stress.
