NYP outpatient services allow women to receive psychotherapy service and medication management while remaining in the community.

A one-stop drop in center and resource center assisting with the various needs of mental health and chemical dependency clients, regardless of whatever agency they may already be linked to. Connects clients with community resources and provides crisis diversion services to prevent the need for higher levels of care. Group therapy sessions available for clients who sign up.

OMH Certified Treatment Apartment Program. A staff person visits these apartments 3-5 times a week, relevant to provision of community rehabilitation skills. Staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Community, group and individual housing services for adults of all ages with an emphasis on personal choice.

Provides information and referral services dedicated to helping anyone in need. Services include: HELPline, a family outreach project, family support groups, a family library, family forums, and a center for families with a mentally ill relative. Call for more information.

Peers are individuals with lived experience. Peers are available in the community and integrated into existing services (ex: hospitals, outpatient clinics, etc.) to support individuals on their positive pathways to behavioral health and wellness. Our peers serve as educators, advocates, supporters, and connectors to other resources.

Provides 24 hour residential services to adults (ages 18+) who have a primary diagnosis of a intellectual disability. Residences are located in communities throughout Brookhaven Town. Services include recreational, direct-care, cook/housekeeper, medical, psychological and nutritional services, nursing, transportation and residential management services.

Offers after-hours supportive care for individuals experiencing a non-life threatening behavioral health situation during the time when their normal clinic is closed. Clients can get a short-term medication refill, talk with a supportive person, or simply make use of a safe, quiet space to de-stress. Provides short-term inpatient psychiatric hospitalization for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults struggling with mental illness (depression, manic-depression, debilitating anxiety, PTSD, schizophrenia, thoughts of suicide, and other mental illness) that cannot be managed safely in a less restrictive environment. Stabilization of the presenting psychiatric crisis is followed by a collaborative discharge plan using supportive outpatient services. Specialized Programs include: Child and Adolescent, Adult, Women's and Men's Programming, Dual Diagnosis/MICA Treatment (Mentally Ill Chemically Addicted), Holistic Treatment Options (Yoga, Massage, Tai-Chi, Drumming, Pastoral Care), Alternative Therapies and Support (Pet Therapy, Art Therapy, Peer Support, etc), Inpatient and Ambulatory Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), and much more.

Provides a 32-bed unit for individuals who are experiencing a severe psychiatric crisis and are in need of an inpatient setting for safety, care, and treatment to stabilize the immediate crisis.
