A program that connects men and women with a recent cancer diagnosis to trained volunteer cancer survivors for education and support. Volunteers and participants with any cancer type are welcome as well as family members and friends.

A one-on-one support program patient to patient and family member to family member. Program may be limited by availability of volunteers.

Provides professionals to address issues and interaction and peer counseling within the group. Group meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 1:30pm. Call for schedule/information.

Provides a variety of services for adults with mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Services include psychosocial rehabilitation, habilitation, family support and training, education support services, empowerment services, pre-vocational services, intensive supported employment, and ongoing supported employment.

Provides inpatient services for those receiving care at the Capital District Psychiatric Center. Offers education regarding consumer rights as well as providing emotional support from trained peer advocates.

* Works to help families and individuals combat substance use disorders through a blended model of peer and family support services. Peer Specialists and Family Support Specialists to individuals and families who have recently experienced an overdose. Works with Monroe County Department of Public Health (DPH) through a collaborative pilot program.* Provides services for families (or other loved ones) designed to guide, educate, and support families through the addiction treatment and recovery process through peer and family support.* Helps individuals and their loved ones become engaged in recovery-focused activities, including addiction and opioid abuse treatment, counseling, support groups, peer interactions, and community services.

* Provides holistic recovery support services for individuals with substance use disorders and their families. Services include: Health and wellness classes. Education and skill-building classes. Support groups for people in treatment and their families. Referrals and connections to community resources. Peer support services by Certified Recovery Peer Advocates (CRPA).* Offers classes and programs that may include: Yoga & Nutrition. Refugee Recovery. Reiki and meditation. Open Mic. Workshops and presentations. Life skills. SMART Recovery (emphasizes self-reliance and habits). Art in Recovery. Movie Night. Other activities.

Offers FREE, personalized emotional support and information for anyone impacted by breast cancer.

A peer-run program that supports individuals with mental health illness or mental health challenges. Offers1:1 peer support as well as group support sessions that focus on wellness and mindfulness. Provides therapeutic techniques and resources to promote recovery and self-care.

Peers are available in the community and integrated into existing services (ex: hospitals, outpatient clinics, etc.) to support individuals on their positive pathways to behavioral health and wellness. Our peers serve as educators, advocates, supporters, and connectors to other resources.

Peer counseling services available to people with disabilities and recovery programs.

Community Connections provides a variety of mental health training services including mental health first aid, QPR suicide prevention training, anger management classes.

Provides the following: information on the relationship of food additives on a person's behavior, learning and health, dietary program for the attention deficit, autistic, pervasive developmental delay and chemically sensitive individual and written materials that help determine and avoid salicylates in foods, medications and other areas. Also offers food shopping guide, and telephone support from peer parents. Newsletter available.
