Provides outpatient mental health evaluation and treatment for adults by a team of psychiatrists and social workers. Services include individual, family and group therapy, and medication management. Also available are mental health services for the homeless.

Offers evaluation and counseling for children, adults, and families struggling with emotional issues. Also provides on-site sexual abuse counseling.

Offers four clinics and a fully licensed early childhood program. The clinics include: Diane Lindner-Goldberg Child Care Institute, Psychological Evaluation Research and Counseling Clinic, Counseling and Mental Health Professions Clinic, Reading/Writing Learning Clinic and Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic. The Center supports high quality educational and practical experiences for Hofstra University students and provides services to University employees and to the community at large. Provides an opportunity for social interaction to further specific skill development relating to handicapped condition, and to encourage individuals to advocate on their own behalf. Outpatient clinic services for children and adolescents ages 3-21. Provides rapid and immediate access to psychiatric, individual, group, and family therapy. Licensed clinicians can help children and youth by addressing situations such as oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, mood disorder, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, addictions, school avoidance, traumatic experiences, PTSD, sexual abuse, domestic violence, suicidal thoughts, aggression, grief and loss, and reactive attachment disorder. Trained mental health clinicians have expertise in EMDR, DBT, Art Therapy, CBT, and Trauma Informed Care. Psychiatric care and parenting resources are available.

Offers evidence-based treatments for children, adolescents, and adults. Provides a broad array of psychological services, including counseling and therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups; psychological assessment and testing; and psychoeducational workshops.

Outpatient clinic services include Adult Services, Alcohol and Substance Use Services, and Child and Adolescent Services. Available services include individual, family, and group therapy. Evidence-based practices are the treatment modalities of choice. People receiving services are encouraged to have their family or significant other participate as well. People receiving services are involved in the development of their treatment plan, as are their family/caregivers to the extent the person desires their involvement or when they are legal guardians. Services can be provided through telehealth as well as in-person. These options are provided in order to help facilitate access to appointments, deal with emergency appointments as needed, and to improve engagement. Sessions are conducted through secure technology platforms, which have been approved by New York State.

Provides individual, youth, and family counseling, play therapy, co-parenting help for unmarried parents, budget counseling, emergency food assistance, information and referral, advocacy, services to the elderly and their families, and domestic violence classes if mandated by the court. During the holiday season, provides assistance with coats, food vouchers to purchase ingredients for holiday meals, and toys/gifts for families who are not receiving gifts from Toys for Tots or Salvation Army.

Offers supervised meetings where you can share similar experiences in a comfortable, caring setting. Depending on your needs, some health care support groups assist with specific conditions and issues, while others are more general in nature.
