Customized Community Services can also be provided in school and mental health settings if there is a contract in place with a funder who has agreed to purchase Customized Services from Hillside. Outpatient clinic services for children and adolescents ages 3-21. Provides rapid and immediate access to psychiatric, individual, group, and family therapy. Licensed clinicians can help children and youth by addressing situations such as oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, mood disorder, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, addictions, school avoidance, traumatic experiences, PTSD, sexual abuse, domestic violence, suicidal thoughts, aggression, grief and loss, and reactive attachment disorder. Trained mental health clinicians have expertise in EMDR, DBT, Art Therapy, CBT, and Trauma Informed Care. Psychiatric care and parenting resources are available.

The Center also provides a thorough diagnostic evaluation to assess current symptoms which includes a detailed interview conducted by a clinician as well as the administration of self-report questionnaires. Also the center will conduct research on the nature and treatment of anxiety and depression. Problems Treated at the Anxiety and Depression Program include: Panic Disorder; Generalized Anxiety Disorder; Specific Phobia; Social Anxiety; Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder; Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Depression. The ABA-based services provide the necessary design, implementation, and evaluation of systematic environmental changes to produce a socially significant change through skill acquisition and the reduction of problematic behavior. Services include direct observation and measurement of behavior and the identification of functional relations between behavior and the environment.

Providers of Skill Building Behavioral Support work to improve social skills, daily living skills, and rehabilitative functioning skills. Services aid in acquiring, retaining, or improving self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills, such as communication, travel, and adult interactions. Skills and appropriate behavior are fostered through activities and environments that promote independence, community inclusion, relationship building, self-advocacy, and informed choice.
