Provides primary care, mental health services, psychiatry, medication management, substance use disorder treatment, peer services, and care management to individuals and families.

Provides state-of-the art evidence-based psychological treatments (cognitive behavioral therapy) for individuals suffering from anxiety and/or depression. The Center also provides a thorough diagnostic evaluation to assess current symptoms which includes a detailed interview conducted by a clinician as well as the administration of self-report questionnaires. Also the center will conduct research on the nature and treatment of anxiety and depression. Problems Treated at the Anxiety and Depression Program include: Panic Disorder; Generalized Anxiety Disorder; Specific Phobia; Social Anxiety; Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder; Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Depression. Outpatient clinic services for children and adolescents ages 3-21. Provides rapid and immediate access to psychiatric, individual, group, and family therapy. Licensed clinicians can help children and youth by addressing situations such as oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, mood disorder, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, addictions, school avoidance, traumatic experiences, PTSD, sexual abuse, domestic violence, suicidal thoughts, aggression, grief and loss, and reactive attachment disorder. Trained mental health clinicians have expertise in EMDR, DBT, Art Therapy, CBT, and Trauma Informed Care. Psychiatric care and parenting resources are available.

Mental health outpatient service for individuals involved in the criminal justice system, including sex offenders. Length of program varies. Offers Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for ex-offenders returning to Erie or Niagara County from a state facility. Intake must be made in cooperation with supervising parole officer.

Offers a wide range of comprehensive mental health services including counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), individual and group therapy, trauma based treatments, treatment for children, medication evaluation and services. Counseling and treatment available for people having problems with anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, anger management, or post-partum depression. Provides a response to mental health emergencies. Also makes referrals for Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS) and Care Coordination.

Provides outpatient substance abuse services for individuals suffering from alcohol or drug related problems and their family members. Individual and family assessments, referrals for detox, and other treatments are available. Offers short and long term treatment groups, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) group, individual and family therapy. Also offers intensive outpatient treatment with medical enhancement available, and an opiate recovery program that includes suboxone treatment. Women's Services are provided through ongoing early intervention, case management, vocational placement services, HIV assessment, counseling, and linkage to ECMC AIDS Services. Expanded culturally sensitive services are available for African American populations, Hispanic populations, gay and lesbian populations, older adults/seniors, and others. Outpatient services are offered for individuals arrested for DWI offenses, with both short and long term intervention and treatment groups. Involvement of families is encouraged with treatment services provided through the Downtown Clinic at the same location. Length of program is 3-9 months.
