Recruits drivers to take older adults in the community to medical-based appointments.

Provides a wide array of volunteer services including transportation for outpatients to Mercy Medical Center's areas of service such as Radiation Therapy, Physical Therapy, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Respiratory Therapy.(No transports to doctor's offices), Silver Spoons which provides assistance to patients needing help at meal times, Cancer Care Volunteers as well as a listening therapy program. Works in conjunction with Local Police Departments and has implemented an accessible Parking Education Enforcement Program. Volunteer agents and Auxiliary Police patrol parking lots to ticket violators. Volunteers drive sick and disabled veterans to and from VA medical facilities for treatment. Syracuse VA Medical Center- currently not offered due to driver shortage appointments must end by 2:30 pm, the latest the van leaves for Ithaca/Cortland. Riders should consider this a full-day trip.
