The Care Links Program provides volunteers to work with people 60+, providing transportation, friendly visiting, help with shopping, telephone assurance, Respite assistance, Handy Helping, Information/Referral, and an AlzheimerTs Support Group.

Volunteers may provide transportation to essential services and appointments, run errands, assist with grocery and personal shopping, or pick up prescriptions, plan a regular phone visit or home visit to provide friendly and supportive listening, prepare/deliver a weekly meal or treat, perform general yard work or light housekeeping, and/or provide respite for caregiver.

Provides transportation to elderly and disabled residents in Steuben County in need to non-emergency medical appointments, pharmacies, grocery stores, food pantries, and/or one-time trip to human service agencies. Regular assistance is not available for recurring treatments such as dialysis or physical therapy, but occasional or short term help may be available. Non-emergency Medicaid Transportation is available to residents in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Livingston and Steuben Counties.

Volunteers drive sick and disabled veterans to and from VA medical facilities for treatment. Syracuse VA Medical Center- currently not offered due to driver shortage appointments must end by 2:30 pm, the latest the van leaves for Ithaca/Cortland. Riders should consider this a full-day trip. Provides transportation services for residents of the towns of Amenia, Dover, North East, Stanford and Washington, and the villages of Millerton and Millbrook, via the Care Car. They also coordinate the Northeast Dutchess Transit Program which can additionally assist residents of the Towns of Pine Plains, Stanford and Washington.
