Provides youth (5 yrs - 19 yrs) in Delaware County with educational programs, experiences and resources designed to enable them to develop knowledge, skills, abilities, attitudes and behaviors to become competent, caring adults.Offers a 4-H summer camp program. Provides volunteer opportunities to be mentors for the girls or to help with various activities. Opportunities also exist to work with adults, helping them learn about the Girl Scouts, and how to implement programs, also to do committee work.

Volunteers needed as troop leaders, co-leaders and troop volunteer parents to assist with weekly troop meetings at local schools and community organizations. Administrative volunteers needed to work on special events. Days, evenings, and weekends, flexible hours.

Volunteers are recruited on an ongoing basis to provide support and encouragement to help develop individual and group initiative and responsibility, self-reliance, courage, personal fitness, discipline and other desirable qualities of character through participation in a wide range of organized recreational, educational and civic activities
