Whether your talents and interests are in sports, special events, or fundraising.Opportunities starting at 13 years of age through our teen swim assistant program and camp counselor in training program at 15 years of age.All Volunteers over the age of 18 years old are required to pass a background check.

Double H Ranch needs general summer volunteers, work day volunteers, winter instructors, medical volunteers, etc.
Offers volunteers a variety of opportunities of outdoor education and recreation, such as teaching, help at specific events, trail maintenance, gardening, exhibit construction, receptionist for 2-hr shift on occasional Saturday, snowplow parking lot, assembly bi-monthly newsletter, and other projects at five sites. Volunteers <18 yrs must be accompanied by parent or adult, on case-by-case approval.

The Adapted Sports and Recreation Program at HHH is a four-season program that provides access to and education about adaptive sports and recreation activities for individuals of a wide range of abilities. The program is open to both former patients of the hospital as well as individuals with disabilities within the community. Adapted activities offered during the year include gardening, handcycling, skiing, rowing, sailing, kayaking, rock climbing, softball, basketball, yoga, therapeutic horseback riding, and more. All activities are held in the New York Metropolitan region.

Intramural, interleague and travel teams are available. Open enrollment is available for the league's yearly two outdoor and limited winter indoor seasons.
