Character Leadership Development: Empowers youth to support and influence their Club and community, sustain meaningful relationships with others, develop a positive self-image, participate in a democratic process, and respect their own and others' cultural identities. Education and Career Development: Enables youth to become proficient in basic educational disciplines, apply learning to everyday situations, and embrace technology to optimize employability. Health and Life Skills: Develops young people's capacity to engage in positive behaviors that nurture their own well-being, set personal goals, and develop the competencies to live successfully as self-sufficient adults. The Arts: Enables youth to develop their creativity and cultural awareness through knowledge and appreciation of visual and tactile arts and crafts, performing arts, and creative writing. Sports, Fitness, and Recreation: Develops fitness, positive use of leisure time, skills for stress management, appreciation for the environment, and social and interpersonal skills.

After school academic and enrichment activities provided for students after school.
A free after-school drop-in center for teens in Niagara Falls, serving adolescent teens ages 11-19. The Connection Coordinator, members of the Teen Peer Program, and Community Trainers lead lively discussions and educational sessions as well as cooking classes, book clubs, and opportunities for youth to develop their community leadership skills. Contests, field trips and other activities are chosen and developed by teen members attending. Members can spend time studying or completing homework, relaxing in a safe space, and engaging in structured programs. Meals or snacks are served daily. Connection members also benefit from informal mentoring, tutoring, a video game lounge, service learning activities, character building, teen employment preparation and employer linkages, college preparation, media production, computer and printer access.

Group clubs for youth include Junior Staff and Healthy Habits. The purpose of each group is to develop workforce readiness skills. Participants do community service projects as well as complete group learning requirements. Also offered are SMART Leaders, Positive Action, and SMART Girls. Currently, 300 adult volunteers help the 400 youth enrolled in one or more of the 95 projects designed for 'hands on' learning. Open to young people ages 5-19, types of enrollments range from the traditional 4-H Club to school programs to individual memberships. Clover Buds is a club for children ages 5-7. County-wide programs for youth aged 8-19 include: Leaders of Tomorrow, Workforce Preparation, and Legislative Interns. The Clover Scene is a monthly publication that contains ideas and information important to 4-H/Youth Development members and volunteer leaders.

Community center. Serves as a senior meal site (see Hours below). Provides AARP Defensive Driving courses. Offers a summer program and numerous after-school programs and activities, including NURTURE Academy. NURTURE (Neighborhoods United for Restoration Teaching Upliftment Recreation & Education) Academy is an afterschool program that can help improve the academic performance of school-aged youth in grades K-8. The program’s foundation is centered on four key clubs: Reading, Culture, Debate, and Drama. Students also participate in character education, arts and crafts, and recreational activities that assist in their social development. HOURS: Monday-Friday, 9am-9pm. Senior Meals: Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday, 10am-2pm. Summer program runs from July through mid-August. NURTURE Academy starts in September.
