* Facilitates meetings between caregivers and their children to work with a Hillside Family Peer Advocate. * Parent education opportunities including active parenting, support groups, and a variety of informational workshops that help increase social connections. * Access to mental health services with an on-site clinician. * Referrals to other community-based services including substance use treatment; mental health services; Women, Infant & Children (WIC) supports; domestic violence supports; food banks; SSI;day care; housing; employment opportunities; and recreational activities. * Support that allows families to accomplish personal goals such as furthering their education and finding job/internship opportunities. * Support for youth and families in achieving success in school, as needed. * Offers monthly family activities offered on-site or in the community.

Offers families a place to meet other families, get help from community agency and provides a place for children birth to 5 to learn, play and grow. There must be an adult with child at all times.

Provides drop-in programs which include stories, crafts, activities, and snacks. Activities are used to reinforce school-readiness skills such as listening, following directions, taking turns, language & speech development, and fine & gross motor skills.

Offers supervised visiting to families needing this service. During visits, non-custodial parents and their children have the opportunity to visit, play, and bond in a child-centered environment. Staff members work with both parents to help them reach their goals and promote positive parenting interactions.

Offers Beach Blast, summer day camp for children ages five through twelve and a Parent and Tot (ages infant to five years) program that runs through December.

Offers a wide variety of information resources which are made available to the community. Computers for public use, internet access, wireless. Various programs, clubs and social groups offered for adults and children at both the main branch and the Annex. Contactless Pickup available during library hours.

Provides Reference, Information and Referral Services and Reader Advisory and programs for children birth to those entering 5th grade as well as their parents. Programs and services include, but are not limited to, storytimes, summer reading club, arts/crafts, and parenting programs.

Provides after-school and weekend recreation and socialization program for children with special needs (K-Graduation). Activities include adaptive physical education and aquatics, arts and crafts, music and cooking. Programs are also available during school vacations. Also offers a special needs music school. Support Group for Siblings an Mommy and Me Programs. Summer camp available and Teen Programs, Social Skills Groups formed as needed.

Offers programs designed for children and parents, or are oriented towards families. Offers K-8th summer day camp and after camp care (3-6:00 pm), with 2025 dates from June 30-August 8. Evening registration for residents in February and non-residents in March. Fees apply

Provides programs for children to promote reading, such as story hours, arts and crafts, parent/child activities, and more.

Provides a friendly, supportive atmosphere through enriching group activities. Offers a place to share parenting experiences and new ideas, celebrate the joys of motherhood, foster respect and tolerance for individual choices, and strengthen and empower families and community. Offers weekly play groups and children's activities as well as a monthly newsletter.

A program where moms and children spend time together during the week, and enhance social development for both mom and tots, through playtime and special outings.

Provides information and referral, reference services, readers advisory and programs for children from birth through grade 8 as well as parents. Programs and services include, but are not limited to, topics such as immunizations, book discussions, story hour, arts and crafts, and Parent/Child Workshop.

Offers: Parent/Child Gymnastics program for children ages 2-3 1/2 with parent, Tots Gymnastics for 3 1/2-5 years old, and Munchkin Gymnastics for children ages 5-7 years old, each in four once-weekly sessions. Conducts age-appropriate activities. Also conducts Gymnastics Camp for 8-18 years old at all levels of experience. Provides instruction in all phases of gymnastics. Operates four camp sessions, each two weeks long, Monday through Thursday. Call for more information.

Offers several programs which focus on infants and toddlers, such as Baby and Me, Tot Park, Junior Nature Explorers, Mud Bunnies, Little Sluggers, Pre-Ballet, and T-Ball. Many of these programs include parent/child activities.

Programs and services include but are not limited to topics such as the Parent-Child Workshop, summer reading club, Storytimes, arts and crafts, Bilingual Storytime, educational programs and parenting programs. Programs and services for families and children from birth to grade 12. Activities include play and story times, crafts, performances, book discussions and extensive summer programming. For middle and high school students, special programs and numerous opportunities for volunteering are offered.
