Offers assistance and support to caregivers who provide unpaid assistance to family members. Available services include information and referrals, individual counseling, caregiving magazine subscriptions, and caregiver training. Also offers support groups for any caregiver providing helpful information for handling challenges of care giving in a supportive environment.

Provides a support group for caregivers of those diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. The group allows caregivers to share concerns, ideas, and simply support each other through difficult situations.

Free caregiver support group for anyone providing support to someone with significant memory decline, Alzheimer's disease, or dementia.

Provides a Caregiver Support Group for family caregivers of elderly residents in the community or health care facility, and a Widow/Widower Support Group for people having difficulty during the adjustment period after the loss of a spouse.

This program helps sustain family caregivers in their efforts to care for an older relative who has a chronic illness or disability. The Office for the Aging coordinates a variety of services. These services are designed to complement, not replace, family care. Priority is given to caregivers 60 years and older with the greatest social and economic need. Programs include: - Tai Chi for Arthritis - Moving for Better Balance - Stepping On: Falls Prevention Program - Living Healthy Programs, which specialize in programs for managing Diabetes and Chronic Pain - Healthy Bones - Powerful Tools for Caregivers, which includes training, support groups, and counseling Additional services include: Home Safety Assessments and hospital to home assistance with a certified Care Transition Coach.
