Conducts 10 week support groups for recently divorced/separated persons, single parent, teens of divorced/separated families, caretakers of the ill or elderly. New parents, bereaved persons. Separate bereavement groups address loss of spouse, loss of parent (for teens), loss of parent (for adults) and loss of grandparent. Dates vary. Call for details or to join.

Mental health professionals trained in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing with a specialty in suicide respond to calls and responses are made in home usually within less that 24 hours. Also responds to businesses and schools touched by suicide. In addition Joe's Project has a team of trained volunteers who have previously lost a loved one to suicide to work with families and run support groups. Provides individual, family, and group counseling, as well as support to organizations and communities affected by the loss of someone who died by suicide. Upon request, FSL’s trained professional staff will visit your home, school, business, or another location of your choosing to help you walk through the excruciating days and weeks that follow your loss. If you prefer to wait, assistance from a Joe’s Project counselor may be arranged anytime you feel ready. May also provide or recommend resources for follow up counseling, support groups, and referrals for additional services.
