Provides a safe and welcoming environment for people in all stages of addiction recovery and their families to reclaim their lives. Offers a wide range of personalized services to promote healthy lifestyles, from support groups and life-skills training to nutrition seminars and exercise classes.

Recovery group open to all women who have experienced addiction and are looking for support, healing, and hope. Provides recovery education, skills, supports, resources, and a setting to share experiences.

Provides behavior management, counseling, crisis intervention, family reimbursement, guardianship assistance, benefits and entitlements assistance, home modification, independent living skills, information and referral, parenting skills for parents of developmentally disabled children (in or out of home), service coordination/case management, support groups, and transitional planning for persons with developmental disabilities of all ages. Developmentally disabled parent training is provided to first time parents with a developmental disability. Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Program available for parents of children with autism.

Statewide Systems Advocacy Network (SSAN) is a collection of Independent Living Centers and grassroots advocates working for the full inclusion of people with disabilities in all areas of life. The SSAN is dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities in New York State by removing barriers and opposing all forms of systemic segregation. The SSAN advocates for legislation, public policy and practices in the following areas: housing, health care, election reform, civil rights employment, education, transportation, funding and budget issues.

Support group for those experiencing the loss of an adult loved one, such as a spouse, parent, etc.

A fellowship of individuals who, through shared experience and mutual support, are recovering from the disease of food addiction. Program is based on the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. No dues, fees, or weigh-ins at FA meetings.

Offers social supports that provide opportunities for veterans to engage, network, and form friendships with other veterans to help re-establish feelings of camaraderie and build positive mental health. Organizes activities such as craft nights, coffee chats, ice cream outings, field trips, and more. ##Veteran##

Support group provides resources, comfort, coping skills, and a place for women to share common concerns and emotional support. Meetings are located in the Heart Center of Niagara's HSBC Community Room on the second floor. Also maintains the 2U ABC Relief Fund, which provides direct financial support to both uninsured and insured patients who have high co-pays or cannot afford their co-pays, and who are financially and medically qualified for medical treatments and/or prescription medication. Financial support may go towards radiation and chemo treatments, prescription medication, or over-the-counter medication.

Support group for individuals effected by scleroderma. Provides a setting conducive to sharing concerns, information, and feelings in a confidential environment, where members provide encouragement, coping strategies, and mutual support. Meetings have both social and educational components which may include a guest speaker or DVD presentation. Patients are encouraged to attend with their caregivers and family members, allowing all to come to a better understanding of a patient’s journey with scleroderma, how this journey affects their relationships with others, and how to voice their own concerns when needed. There is no charge to attend meetings and all are welcome to attend any support group regardless of location; groups are currently meeting virtually. Solicitations and conducting research during meetings are prohibited.

Support group which leads participants through identifying and examining common self-defeating behaviors and irrational thoughts, as well as developing mindfulness skills and learning how to build and utilize a healthy support network.

Self help group for anyone struggling with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, low self-esteem, stress, fears of any kind, or anger that is getting in the way of social, work, and home life. Other interested persons are welcome to attend as observers. Group meets weekly.

Offers a place for grieving adults and children to find refuge and guidance through grief support and education that is sensitive, compassionate, and responsive to individual needs. Individually customized support is provided by licensed grief professionals. Services provided include telephone support, counseling, counseling referrals, support groups, youth programming, resource linkage, and educational presentations. Wilson Support Center is an affiliate of Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo.
