Offers participants an opportunity to engage in a variety of activities, organized sports and traveling to community events.

Provides center-based activities including bingo, coffee and conversation, and lunch on a weekly basis. Offers recreational trips and engaging classes and trainings through University Express and other partners. Also offers one-on-one assistance with social service issues such as HEAP, SNAP, and STAR applications, Medicare and Medicaid recertification, and other needs. Free van transportation to and from the program is available for those living on or close to the West Side.

Provides EISEP Case Management, Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERs), In-Home Contact and Support, Health Insurance Information Counseling Assistance Program (HIICAP), Home Delivered Meals (HDM), Congregate Meals, Nutrition Counseling, Nutrition Education, Information and Assistance, NY Connects Options Counseling, Afternoon Trips and Transportation, and Senior Center Recreation and Education. Has a contract with the Center for Elder Law & Justice for Legal Assistance.

Offers eight locations where seniors can gather and enjoy recreational activities, exercise programs, and social events, during the week and throughout the year.

Offers a variety of social and recreational activities for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals ages 50 and older. Programs may include computer classes, discussion groups, support groups, advisory board meetings, health and wellness series, exercise classes, heart healthy activities, monthly restaurant outings and other social events. Call for information.

Open to children ages 4-12 during non-school hours; provides adult supervision and is open most school holidays including early release days and snow days. Activities include homework help, arts and crafts, field trips, special events, and use of a billiards room, game room, lounge and computer lab. Children ages 4-6 participate in the Funland Program. JYC may be available through the Ken-Ton Transportation Department. Request form required for alternate transportation.

Provides weekly luncheons at the John Duke Center, Native crafts, socializing, field trips, visits to other Native Centers, and limited personal service.

Offers physical fitness activities for both adults and kids (basketball, soccer, flag football, Swimming, and more), as well as leadership development, active older adult’s programs and trips, exercise classes (yoga, cardio, strength training, water exercise), summer camps, before and after school child care, preschool programs, teen program including activity center, home school physical education, and various health and wellness programs. Off-site swimming pool offers open swim year-round, lap and family swims, lifeguard training, and swim lessons.

Offers a variety of services including caregiver services including respite, health promotion activities, friendly telephoning and visiting services, and information about services available to community members age 60 or older and provide assistance, as needed, in accessing these services or resources as well as assistance in obtaining groceries to home-bound seniors.

Offers individuals the opportunity to participate in group activities or overnight trips to local attractions. Admissions, meals, and transportation are provided at no charge to families.

Provide socialization and recreation to adults with developmental disabilities. Activities include dinners, yoga, games, community trips, arts and craft projects, music and dancing, and more.

Offers hands on programs in the learning center to students in first through twelfth grades. The programs focus on physical sciences and utilize the inquiry method of teaching along with exploration time with museum exhibits. During school vacations, the museum is open for Scouts, Enrichment/Remedial Programs and Science Clubs. Call for reservations and more information.

Offers continuous activities for young people throughout the summer, including daily outings and a reading program three mornings a week. Services available in Spanish.

Offers a weekly field trip during the summer for local teenagers to have fun, activities include Splash Down, bowling, Fun Central, roller skating and more.

Provides parent education, parent/child programs, referral to community programs, and field trips. Call for more information/brochure.

Offers subject-specific courses in cooking, writing, reading, exercise, dance, painting, personal development, computer classes, and more. Also conducts special field trips to a variety of cultural and specialized locations.

Provides a social day care program for the frail elderly, including transportation within our catchment area, hot meal, blood pressure screening, recreation, arts and crafts, music therapy, exercise therapy, trips, outings, and parties. Serves frail, elderly, at-risk or isolated persons over age of 60 with one or more physical or mental deficits who are continent, able to feed and toilet themselves and work in a group.

Offers a variety of organized day trips, weekly activities, games, exercise (including seated) and socialization for seniors in the community. Arts and crafts, Bingo, transit to senior club meetings and more. Free blood pressure check session offered once a month. See events calendar.

Offers bi-monthly recreational programs to seniors, such as outings to museums, concerts, restaurants, etc, or forming special interest groups, like book clubs, games, and more. Also covers the annual membership fee in the Larchmont-Mamaroneck senior center.
