Provides a variety of activities for residents of all ages, especially the local youth. Activities include tennis, basketball, social events, movie night, field trips, arts and crafts, exercise, and more.

Provides a full complement of services to adults ages 55 and over. Daytime programming includes breakfast, lunch, take-home food, exercise, field trips, transportation services, health and wellness information, assistance with senior benefits/issues, recreation and cultural activities, technology classes, workshops, and referral services. Also offers an emergency food pantry, open to residents living in zip code 14204. All services are operated and managed by seniors.

Provides EISEP Case Management, Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERs), In-Home Contact and Support, Health Insurance Information Counseling Assistance Program (HIICAP), Home Delivered Meals (HDM), Congregate Meals, Nutrition Counseling, Nutrition Education, Information and Assistance, NY Connects Options Counseling, Afternoon Trips and Transportation, and Senior Center Recreation and Education. Has a contract with the Center for Elder Law & Justice for Legal Assistance.

Offers field trips and special events to youth enrolled in Center's programs. Trips/events include (but are not limited to) concerts, sports events, skating, horseback riding, amusement park visits, and comedy shows.

Provides community meeting space, food pantry referrals, special events, family activities, and technology center / computer lab. Senior programming includes exercise, movies, parties, senior council meetings, bingo, nutrition program for seniors, and field trips. Youth programming includes an after school program for children 5-10 years old, 4-H programs, homework help, teen and adolescent life skills, youth and teen recreation, summer day camp, and homework assistance. Also provided are youth sports, adult sports and recreation, adult athletic leagues, exercise programs, and a fitness room. Serves as a City of Buffalo Cooling Center during times of extreme heat and as a Warming Center during times of extreme cold. Always call ahead to make sure a Cooling/Warming Center is open before going there.

Provides assistance in filling out forms, as well as information and referral. Offers portal to portal transportation for medical appointments and limited groceries. Also offers hot nutritious lunches, recreational activities, educational and health programs (including blood pressure, hearing, and cholesterol screenings), and organized trips (both day and overnight). Monthly bulletin available by request. Mayor's discount card available for all seniors 55 and older; must be used in the city only.

Offers a variety of activities and classes, such as art, bridge, ceramics, computers, Tai-Chi, Yoga, exercise, cultural and more. Also provides transportation to and from the center, the supermarket, and doctor appointments.

Provides many activities including hot and cold lunches three times a week, day trips, overnight trips, special movie dates, exercise and line dancing classes, just to name a few. Seniors are welcome to join the nearest center and to participate in all its activities.

Offers summer day and travel camps for preschoolers through 10th grade, CIT Program, after-school services, holiday trips and recreational events and sports teams for children and youth.

Provides a wide range of educational opportunities to schools, teachers, local groups and individual families. Some programs include special presentations about our marine life exhibits, outreach programs, and even behind-the-scenes tours. Internships are also offered for High School and College Students.

Provides seniors with a variety of recreational social and fitness programs.

Offers a variety of organized day trips, weekly activities, games, exercise (including seated) and socialization for seniors in the community. Arts and crafts, Bingo, transit to senior club meetings and more. Free blood pressure check session offered once a month. See events calendar.

Offers a variety of activities and programs for seniors in the community, giving them an opportunity to socialize, have fun and learn new things.

Offers hands on programs in the learning center to students in first through twelfth grades. The programs focus on physical sciences and utilize the inquiry method of teaching along with exploration time with museum exhibits. During school vacations, the museum is open for Scouts, Enrichment/Remedial Programs and Science Clubs. Call for reservations and more information.

Offers regularly scheduled social, cultural and educational events for older adults to enjoy, events can include museum tours, concerts, performing arts, lectures, and more.

Offers collection of minerals, fossils, butterflies, moths, and seashells as well as local historical materials. Educational programs in the sciences are offered for school and scout groups in house or as outreach programs.
