Fosters growth and development of its members through organized races in the sport of running

Offers a variety of activities for youth with developmental disabilities to participate and enjoy, such as special events, social programs, and sports. Also provides the opportunity for individuals with developmental disabilities to train and participate in the Special Olympics competition. Areas of training and competition are in bowling, gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, swimming, tennis, and track and field.

Provides fun and social recreational activities, such as bowling, dinning out, theme dances, movie nights, holiday parties, Special Olympics training, and Saturday and summer respite programs.

Programs offered include licensed after school and recess camp programs, adult and youth tennis, swimming lessons, water aerobics, lap swim, after-school gym programs, toddler programs, Badminton, adult floor hockey, basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, youth basketball lessons, open basketball, and floor hockey. Playground and playmobile (mobile playground) available. Concerts in the parks and various special events offered during the year. Programs for adults with disabilities include social program, crafts, and Special Olympics training in basketball, track, and swimming. Offers a year-round gymnastics program serving all ages and abilities, from preschool instruction to a competitive team.

Provides year-round athletic training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Competition takes place throughout the county in over 20 different olympic-type sports

Provides opportunities for anyone who wants to volunteer to teach/coach individuals with disabilities in various sports.

Offers many athletic facilities. The Sports Complex consists of the The Pritchard Gymnasium; Stuart Goldstein Development Center; Kenneth P. Lavalle Stadium; Joe Nathan Field; Island Federal Credit Union Arena; University Tennis Courts; University Field, University Pool, University Track and Dubin Family Athletic Performance Center. The Sports Complex is the home to summer camps offered to youth in various sports. Most athletic facilities may be used for recreational purposes when they are not scheduled for classes, intercollegiate, intramural or special events. Offer aquatics programming, and Special Olympics training in a variety of sports.

Provides Special Olympics training designed for those with developmentally disabilities, and offers a summer camp with a variety of activities geared to meet the physical, mental and social aspects of each camper through music, sports, arts and crafts, swimming and field trips.

Offers recreational programs, organized sports and other activities for adults with developmental disabilities, such as Young Adult Club, bowling, swimming, dance, karate, art, tennis, theater, including the opportunity to train for the Special Olympics competition in areas of track & field, swimming and basketball.

The New York State Gaming Commission regulates all aspects of gaming activity in the State, including horse racing and pari-mutuel wagering, Class III Indian Gaming, the state lottery (including video lottery terminals), commercial gaming and charitable gaming.

Offers the opportunity and the training for individuals, children and adults, including those with disabilities to become athletes and compete in a variety of sports. For those with disabilities there are divisions such as visually impaired/blind, hearing impaired/deaf, spinal cord injured, amputee, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular/Neuromuscular dystrophy, dwarfism, arthritis, etc.

Provides a number of programs with opportunities to prepare children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities, which focus on skills needed for their future. Some highlights include weekly recreational trips, respite and more.

Offers children and adults with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to train and participate in various sports and compete in the yearly Olympic event. Also provides a program for those youth who want to participate in sports, but do not want to compete.
