Provides hands-on activities for children ages 7 and up in learning about farm animals, gardens, chores. This active hour reinforces responsibility and group cooperation.

Provides opportunity in the Fall for children ages 4-6 to meet and learn about a different farm animal in four one-hour sessions. The children will learn about the harvest and preparing for winter on the farm. In the Spring, each child will hold and feed baby animals and grow plants for their garden.

Presents a program for two and three year olds and a parent, in which the child uses all five senses to discover the farm. Provides song, story, and snack.

Provides virtual tours of the Catskill Animal Sanctuary. During the tour you learn the history and mission of CAS, meet many of our 150+ rescued farm animals, hear farm animal rescue stories, and learn what working with these amazing animals has taught us. Information on agribusiness and its devastating consequences for animals, humans and the planet is shared honestly but with sensitivity to the ages of those on your tour. For schools, businesses and special occasions year round.

Offers a variety of educational programs for parents or caregivers and their children ages 2-5. Programs focus on farm life, farm animals and may include hands-on activities and arts and crafts.

Offers group and family educational programs related to agriculture, environment, animal sciences, nutrition, gardening and historical programs. Also offers summer programs for youth in grades K-12 and early childhood programs for children ages 2-5.

Provides families with the chance to learn about, interact with and enjoy animals in a natural farm setting. Offers spring, summer, fall and planting field trips throughout the year. Provides job opportunities for 30 to 40 youths at various times during the year. Also hosts annual Fall Farm Festival. Call for more information.
