Provides summer residential programs that offer intensive, preprofessional training for New York State's most gifted and motivated young artists, who are considering careers in the arts or entertainment industries. Consists of seven component schools located throughout New York State: ballet, choral studies, orchestral studies, dance, medial arts, visual arts, and theater.

Offers a wide range of instruction in the arts through group classes, private instruction, workshops, performances and collaborations with various outside groups. Offers an arts-based pre-K program, an affiliated before and after care program and a variety of private and group vocal and instrument classes, including offerings for special needs students in the music therapy department. Provides low-cost programs in visual, literary, and performing arts. Programs are available for all ages and experience levels and are offered in several locations throughout the Syracuse area.

Dance: Provides the joy of dancing through the use of body and rhythmic movements. Participants increase coordination, flexibility, balance, and their overall sense of well-being.Movement & Song: Encourages creative expression through active music making, sing-alongs and dance. Rhythm instruments such as tambourines, maracas, bells and triangles help create an enjoyable movement and song experience.Percussion Band: Participants sit together in a circle and play drums and other percussion instruments. The imagination of the group is sparked as they enact visions of trains, thunderstorms, etc. using their percussion instruments.Yoga: Yoga provides the tools for maximizing health by developing strength and flexibility in a gentle manner. Arts & Crafts: provides instruction and materials for various art projects.

Provides individual and small group instrumental (Piano, Trumpet, Trombone, Violin, Viola, Cello, Guitar, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone & Drums) and voice lessons for children ages 7-13. The children are taught by talented high school, college, and community musicians. Through our Youth Mentorship Program, the youth instructors themselves learn leadership, responsibility, and teaching skills by professional musicians and music educators who serve as mentors and guides.

Offers an amazing public high school program that has transformed the lives of young emerging artists from across Long Island through both its high school and summer programs. LIHSA is a Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. Under New York State’s “4+1” pathway assessment option, students must take and pass four required Regents Exams or Department Approved Alternative assessments and complete a comparably rigorous pathway to meet the fifth assessment requirement for graduation. Students can now do this with completion of the Career and Technical Education-approved exam and the core sequence of classes at LIHSA. Courses are offered in Performing Arts; Visual & Digital Arts; Scenic Construction & Production Technologies; Sonic Arts; Game Design; Multimedia Journalism; 3D Animation and Expressive Arts and Human Development. Our 38,000 square feet of studios and workshops across three buildings are filled with professional workspaces and facilities. We have four dance studios on campus, a larger theatre that holds 350 audience members with lighting and sound equipment, two smaller black box theatres, a recording studio, numerous classroom spaces, practice rooms, art studios, film editing room, darkroom, digital music space and a carpentry shop for scenic design. Offers Spanish guitar as part of its Youth Development/Delinquency Prevention Program (YDDP). This program is designed to help underserved individuals access support to help them improve their lives. Guitars are provided for class use. (Participants need to purchase or rent their own to practice independently at home). Participants perform at Circulo's holiday show in December, and Mother's Day show in May.

Offers personal interest courses in a wide variety of areas. Sample course offerings include: Writers Write: Personal Journaling; Poetry Workshop; Drawing For Beginner And Intermediate Levels; Drawing Portraits; Watercolor Painting; Create Art Playfully; Sewing Basics; Intermediate Guitar; Introduction To Portrait Photography And Lighting; The Art Of Photography; Summer Fare; Spa Cooking From Your Kitchen; A Tour Of Spanish Wine; Napa Valley Wine Jewels; Social / Ballroom Dancing and Latin Dance Moves. Provides adult education programs through the Town of Southold's Recreation Department. Offers courses in sports, music, defensive driving for seniors, arts and crafts, yoga, beginning computers, personal enrichment, cooking and digital photography.

A one-week residential Summer sleep-away camp, which focuses on music instruction and performance for children at all levels, from beginners to advanced. Other camp activities include drama, sports, swimming, arts and crafts

Offers youth programs such as bus trips to sporting events and amusement parks, aerobics, bicycle safety, golf lessons, horseback riding, playground program, salt water fishing, and tennis lessons. Will make referrals to other community youth activities.

Provides opportunity for inner-city youth to study guitar, piano, and voice lessons at St. Lucy's, and Brady Faith Center. Offers a yearly concert, and other musical events in the community.

Offers a variety of organized activities, programs and sports for everyone in the community.

Offers a variety of therapeutic activities for people with developmentally disabilities, including music therapy, creative arts, adapted aquatics and sports, life skills, nutrition awareness, Special Olympic training, story-telling and instrumental lessons. Also provides aquatic physical therapy and traumatic brain injury fitness plans.

A 10-week composition on writing workshop which students work with professional composers and musicians. Professional assists in the teaching of the sounds, range, effects and capabilities of many orchestral instruments. Students are instructed in the basics of composition and guided in the orchestration of their own music. A concert is held in early springs of their accomplishments.

Offers programs which are designed for all ages, from children to adults, and offers access to conservatory-level music instruction from one of the nation's premier collegiate training grounds for musicians. Community Music Programs include: Early Elementary (pre-K to 2nd grade) - First Steps in Music; Late Elementary (3rd to 7th grade) - Elementary Orff Ensemble; Middle and High School (7th to 12th grade) - Young Artist Chamber Program and Adults - Community Chamber Music. The early in music programs are designed to introduce basic music skills in a nurturing, fun-filled environment. The class offerings include: Suzuki Strings (violin, viola, piano and cello) for ages 4-8 years and Music Skills in Group Piano, Violin and Guitar for varying ages.

Provides programs which include introduction to computers, guitar lessons, bridge for beginners, and stargazing programs.
