Adaptive Driving provides driver evaluation and training to individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities.

EAC's Teen Driving Equation Program is designed to cultivate and enforce positive driving skills among teens while establishing a pattern.

Offers Defensive Driving Course, and 55 Alive/Mature Driving Program.

Offers high school students a non-credit, state-certified Driver and Traffic Safety Education program. Those who successfully complete the course will receive the MV-285 Student Certificate Completion issued by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles. The MV-285 allows students with a NYS Junior Permit to schedule a road test, receive their senior license at the age of 17 instead of 18, and may be eligible for a rate reduction in their automobile insurance. This program consists of 25.5 hours of classroom instruction and 25.5 hours of behind the wheel training and observation. Effective July 1, this course will be offered in-person, on the Ammerman Campus in Selden. Please note that XDT100 and XDT200 are corequisites and must be taken together and successfully completed to obtain the MV-285. Provides mandated training in safety/health areas such as OSHA/TB, American Red Cross basic first aid, OMRDD Incident Reporting, HAZ Communication, driving issues, Hands on Driving, Defensive Driving. Also provides training in infection control, CPR, medication administration, crisis intervention, seizure control, stress management, and other related topics.

* Provides employment and training opportunities to adults, youth, and dislocated workers. Also provided are job search assistance, vocational planning, labor market information, career counseling, and case management. * Offers workshops on such topics as Resume Writing, Cover Letter Writing, Interviewing, and Computers. * Offers training programs based on needs of the community and market. Types of training may include: LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) training. CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) training. CDL (Commercial Driver's License) training.

These Defensive Driving courses are approved by the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles as a course provider under the Point and Insurance Reduction Program (PIRP). Drivers may be eligible to reduce as many as 4 points on your driving record. Principal owners of a vehicle until receive a miminimum of 10% reduction in the base rate of your auto or motor cycle liability and collision insurance premiums for 3 years.

Offers free classes in: Adult Basic Education (ABE), ESL and HSE. Also offers classes in: Yoga; Citizenship; Art, Country Line Dancing; Crochet/Knitting; ESL; Painting; Tai Chi Chuan/I-Liq Chuan; Zumba; Basketball; Tap Dance; Volleyball; Stained Glass; French; High School Equivalency GED Prep; Mah Jongg; Mandarin; Notary; Financial Planning; Defensive Driving and Literacy and Work Place skills. Provides a wide variety of services for community members including ACT and SAT preparation, babysitter training, basic computer skills, driver education, online courses, and certificate programs.

Online Smart Driver Course or in person course offered at some senior centers.

Provides 24 hours of classroom instruction and 24 hours of in-vehicle instruction, with 6 hours behind the wheel and 18 hours of driving instruction.

* Offers individuals of all ages and abilities coaching to learn to drive safely and confidently through services including: Customized training in specially equipped vehicles, training in new driving techniques and vehicle equipment evaluations.

Provides a transportation assistance program designed to support income eligible households in acquiring transportation so adults may maintain employment.Financial assistance with the following: Vehicle repairs Gas cards Vehicle insurance payments Inspection cost Abstract cost Client DMV Registration Case ManagementThese services will target TANF-eligible households who reside in Otsego County and are working at least 20 hours/week or have a letter of hire to work at least 20hours/week.

* Offers social and dining programs for older adults in the community. Health related programs. Fitness programs. Transportation. To and from nutrition programs and activities. No medical appointments. Destination Day Trips Recreation Programs for the whole family.* Offers AARP Mature Drivers Course.

* Provides outpatient rehabilitation services at two locations. At the Faxton Campus, all services are available, and it is home to an aqua therapy pool and a rehabilitation gym. The second location is at St. Elizabeth Medical Arts, where physical therapy services are available. Available services offered between both sites include:
