When funding is available, provides rent and utility assistance in emergency situations under specific circumstances; clients should reach out and share their circumstances to learn whether they'd be eligible. Also offers a health clinic which provides the following: - Telehealth services - Health coach services, including health referrals and guidance on health insurance - Visits from Oak Orchard Health's mobile health unit, which provides lab services and a nurse practitioner

Public library. Offers seasonal Story Times for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, along with other special programs to promote reading. Offers reading, crafts, LEGO club, and other special programs for school-age children. Offers a book club, computer classes, a main meeting room (capacity 37), a second meeting room (for small groups), and a play room for children age 6 and under accompanied by adults. Offers 9 computers for public use with networked Microsoft Office Applications 2007, printing (B&W 10 cents per page, color 20 cents per page), internet access, and Wi-Fi. Serves as a Cooling Center for individuals during times of excessive heat. Always call ahead to make sure a Cooling Center is open before going there.

Designed specifically for our youngest campers in grades K-2 (co-ed) and offers a multi-sport experience and a whole lot more! Campers participate in this age-appropriate program covering the fundamental skills of some of our “core sports” (soccer, basketball, tennis, baseball/softball), as well as enjoying additional activity periods where creativity, education and character development are focused upon. A blended day of “core sports”, phys-ed games and creative learning ensures that each camper has an exciting, fun-filled experience each and every day. Apart from many of our other programs, campers enrolled in Rising Stars will partake in special events on a weekly basis. These events may include the following, but might vary year-to-year: Challenge Island educational workshops, petting zoos, face painting, tie-dye shirt creation, dress-up days, visits from local police and fire departments, and more. The Rising Stars group has their own dedicated classroom that allows them to get out of the sun when necessary. This air conditioned space is their home base, where they also play fun classroom style games or partake in creative learning sessions, with the occasional period of arts and crafts. Each week is unique and we aim to make every campers day as special as possible. All programs run weekly from Monday to Friday and camp hours are 9:00am-4:00pm.
