Meets the leisure-time needs of the people of Binghamton.
Provides a starting point for many youth to learn about becoming and staying active and developing healthy habits. Offers opportunities to learn new sports, build positive relationships, and develop good sportsmanship and teamwork. Youth programs include indoor soccer, basketball, floor hockey, golf, flag football, and preschool sports programs, along with the YMCA Canal Club which provides opportunities to bike, hike, kayak, and snowshoe throughout the year.

Provides a number of low-cost environmental educational programs. Trails open to the public dawn to dusk for hiking, bird watching, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. Guided nature programs for groups are available upon request.

Offers a 2,700 acre facility with bridle paths, cross-country skiing, mountain biking, hiking trails, picnic shelters, youth group camping areas, and winter-season concessions. Skyline Lodge banquet facility is available for events.
