Serves as a Cooling Center for individuals during times of excessive heat. Serves as a Warming Center in times of excessive cold. Always call ahead to make sure a Cooling/Heating Center is open before going there.

Teaches youth ages Pre-K through 12 years (in age-appropriate groups) the fundamentals of various sports along with the general concepts of teamwork, sportsmanship, etc. Sports include Tae-Kwon-Do, basketball, soccer, wiffle ball, and more.

Offers licensed after school and recess camp programs, adult/youth tennis year round, swimming lessons, water aerobics (year round), lap swim (year round), after-school gym programs, toddler programs, Badminton (year round), adult floor hockey, basketball, volleyball and dodgeball, youth basketball lessons, open basketball, and floor hockey. Playground and playmobile (mobile playground) available on site. Concerts in the parks and various special events offered during the year. Programs available for both adults and youth with disabilities, including social programs, and Special Olympics training in basketball, track, and swimming. Crafts available year round for adults, and swimming offered in summers for youth. Services also available for dropouts and first offenders. Offers drug abuse prevention programs. Offers a summer program and numerous after-school programs and activities, including NURTURE Academy. NURTURE (Neighborhoods United for Restoration Teaching Upliftment Recreation & Education) Academy is an afterschool program that can help improve the academic performance of school-aged youth in grades K-8. The program’s foundation is centered on four key clubs: Reading, Culture, Debate, and Drama. Students also participate in character education, arts and crafts, and recreational activities that assist in their social development. HOURS: Monday-Friday, 9am-9pm. Senior Meals: Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday, 10am-2pm. Summer program runs from July through mid-August. NURTURE Academy starts in September.

Once a month, provides the opportunity for children with autism spectrum disorder and sensory processing disorder, along with their friends and family, to play and learn together in an understanding and supportive environment. Families have access to the museum space, play zones, and cafe. Featured activities include a music center, therapy dogs, art projects, and gross motor activities. Also provides a social narrative about the new museum and its play zones, quiet kits, and calming sensory friendly spaces in the museum.

Provides activities for adults and teens with developmental disabilities.

Teen Recreation: Offers activities in the community for teens from 13 to 18 years who have a developmental disability and are living in a non-certified residence in Onondaga County.

Art Surge: Provides an art program for teens from 13 to 18 years who have been diagnosed with autism or an autism spectrum disorder.

Summer Fun: Offers individualized support for children and teens to enable participation in summer camps and programs.

Site-Based Respite: Provides after-school respite for youth and teens.

Adult Recreation: Offers short term respite for family members of individuals with developmental disabilities who are ages 18 years or older and live in a non-certified residence in Onondaga County.
