Offers a residential camp for children that would normally not be able to attend a summer camp or have a summer vacation due to the economical situation of their family. Deputy sheriffs are in residence during each of the six one-week sessions as part of the camp's daily curriculum and as mentors. They also provide demonstrations of law enforcement techniques and equipment including K-9 and scuba diving demonstrations. Various recreational activities are offered each day as well as drug and alcohol prevention education.

Provides comprehensive wellness services including fitness, health education programs, smoking cessation, disease and injury prevention, weight and stress management, and health and screening counseling.

Provides opportunities for connection, peer support, and healthy fun outlets for those in recovery. Empowers recoverees to build community, discover inner strength, and find their recovery path. A safe and all-inclusive space for individuals to connect with peer supports through adventure and fun events. A community built by peers in recovery for peers, their families, and those within the community that choose to live healthy lives in recovery. Activities: Arts including open art studio, creative writing classes, music groups and open mic nights; Outdoor activities including biking, kayaking, gardening club, open recreation; Fitness classes at all levels; Yoga and meditation; Book club; Game and Movie nights; Family support groups; Peer Support; Mutual aid groups; Volunteer opportunities; Community service projects; Holiday gatherings; Recovery library and quiet spaces.

Provides leadership training, character development, citizenship training and personal fitness for young men. Day and residential camps are available.

Offers a positive alternative to children who reside in a high crime neighborhood providing recreation/arts and crafts, homework help, community service opportunities, and life skills programs.

Offers unique learning opportunities for children and young adults during the summer months. Provides students with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) skills that are essential to their success in the future.

Offers safety seats, boosters and bicycle helmets free or at low cost to residents. Also evaluates proper installation of car seats and boosters and proper fit of helmets to ensure safety of the child. This program is co-sponsored by the Steuben County Traffic Safety Board and Sheriffs Department.

Offers space to the public for recreational use. Most parks provide picnic pavilions, trails and playgrounds and follow a carry-in, carry-out policy for trash.

Offers winter, spring, and summer camps for children K-5th grade. Various programs are available.

Offers a museum with hands-on and live animal displays and over 9 miles of hiking trails. Scheduled events are held monthly, and annually throughout the year for all ages. The building is also available for birthday parties, weddings, and other group meetings.

Offers participants are able to gain self-confidence, learn another way to express and improve communication skills, and increase productivity. Activities include painting, drawing, sculpture, pottery, sewing, paper making, woodworking, poetry, photography and jewelry making.

Provides park and recreational programs and activities for residents and visitors to the City of Oswego.

Offers a full range of services and activities for adults and children including computer access, story programs for preschoolers, programs for seniors, and summer reading clubs for children and teens. Also provides monthly computer and technology classes for intermediate users.

Features picnicking areas, reserved pavilions, ball fields, boat launch and marina, bike trails and rentals, playground, tram rides, and in-line skating. Winter sledding is available at Long Branch Park.

Maintains 13 parks with playlots, fields, and courts of varying sizes that contain play equipment and different athletic fields for active recreation.

Village services

Offers a day camp held for nine or ten weeks each summer. Activities include swimming, gym, arts and crafts, group games, and special events.

Free classes, discussion groups, skill sharing, projects and events in non-intimidating, informal environment.
