Provides support to families who are caring for a child or adult in their home. Family support may take place at the family's home, in the community or at a Lexington site. Family supports include respite, after-school program, evening and weekend recreation, childcare during school holidays and vacations, specialized groups, parent support groups and networks, and training.

Program offers assistance, information, education and referral about benefits, housing, nursing home advocacy and diversion to avoid moving into a nursing home, respite services for care givers, consumer-directed personal services, traumatic brain injury services, and a personal care bank for toiletries and supplies for families in need.

* Provides short-term, temporary relief to those who are caring for family members with disabilities. Temporary housing placement on a planned or emergency basis in Cayuga and Tompkins Counties.

Provides support to families who are caring for a child or adult in their home. Family support may take place at the family's home, in the community or at a Lexington site. Family supports include respite, after-school program, evening and weekend recreation, childcare during school holidays and vacations, specialized groups, parent support groups and networks, and training.

Family Support and Home and Community Based Services for individuals with developmental disabilities; Family Support Coordinators help families determine the services most appropriate for their needs.Home and Community Based Services Waiver provides funding for community habilitation, day habilitation and hourly respite. Each participant has an assigned provider to help them become more independent and active in their community.Also, offers sliding fee scale reimbursement for respite services to provide a break for care-givers. Families may choose their own worker or receive a list of qualified individual service providers.Self direction services are also available in Tioga, Tompkins, Cortland, and parts of Broome, Cayuga, Chemung, Onondaga, Schuyler and Seneca Counties

* Offers volunteer support services free of charge to elderly and disabled individuals without adequate assistance from family, friends, and neighbors. * Provides information and referrals to appropriate resources or agencies. Volunteers provide services such as transportation, grocery shopping, friendly visits, and yard work.

* Offers support, information and referral, and education for developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury, and epilepsy. Case management. Residential Homes. Full continuum of care- from independent living in an apartment, to assisted living offering both memory care and assisted living options to accommodate varying needs, skilled nursing care. Also offers a wellness and fitness facility with certified trainers ready to help residents of all abilities,and a short-term rehabilitation unit.

* Provides an inpatient rehabilitation unit dedicated to short term care (licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists), long term care, special needs/dementia care unit, respite stays, hospice services and support care.

Provides non-medical services for with a temporary or permanent disability, elderly and non-driving persons, such as essential shopping with or for a client, respite time for family caregivers, and yard work.
