Provides workshops and seminars on Adolescent Suicide Prevention, Stress Reduction and Crisis Intervention at schools for parents, students and teachers for service groups and community organizations throughout Suffolk County. DBT treatment is quite comprehensive and involves FOUR components: Individual therapy; Group skills training classes; Between-session telephone coaching and Consultation team for therapists. A unique aspect of our treatment package is that we have added a family therapy component to traditional DBT treatment in our clinic.
