Offers a youth development program that focuses on life skills to school-age youth, in order to build their strengths in order to achieve positive goals, skills include problem solving, decision making, career exploration, leadership training, strengths assessment, goal setting, and values awareness.

Provides neutral alternative dispute resolution programs to help people solve conflicts, no matter the situation or setting. The Center does not provide direct legal representation or advocacy services but can provide referrals to the agencies providing these services. Mediation can: - Help parties with civil and family legal issues who are looking for an alternative to court - Help couples looking to get divorced and or separated - Help landlords and tenants work out non-emergency issues - Help parents and schools agree on special education matters - Help employees and employers resolve conflict - Help neighbors restore harmony in the community - Help families handle issues with teens, siblings, and aging adults - Help parents work out custody and visitation arrangements Services are offered virtually, over the phone, and in person. In addition to mediation programs, the Center collaborates with local civil legal services providers to offer holistic legal services for victims of crime in Erie, Niagara, and Genesee Counties. Center staff will work with victims to identify legal issues and to discuss pathways to achieving justice. The Center also offers Education and Training workshops that provide skills-based trainings, consultation, and coaching services.

Works with students, teachers and staff by providing age-appropriate training in communication, conflict resolution, violence prevention, victim awareness and empathy, anger management and mediation. A program that works in collaboration with schools, which are workshops designed to build knowledge and skills of team work, communication, conflict resolution, self-esteem and diversity, so that their schools and communities are safer and more productive places for themselves and their peers. After 25-30 hours of intensive training youth develop strong relationships and a sense of community that they will carry with them for years to come. The program strives to allow young people to use their voices to express their concerns, fears and dreams within a safe environment.

For students needing additional support, Ripple Effects is an individualized computer based program which covers non-academic issues that may be getting in the way of school success.
