Offers 3 child development classes for parents. First Five Years Parenting: For parents of children from birth to 5 years old. Class consists of three virtual 2-hour sessions. Emphasis is placed on school readiness, brain development, brain building activities, mindfulness, and self-calming activities for parent and child. Active Parenting: For parents of children 5-12 years old. Class consists of three virtual 2-hour sessions. Program addresses how parents can raise responsible, cooperative children who are prepared to meet the challenges of their teen years, resist negative peer pressure, and thrive in the 21st century. Includes explanation on the workings of the developing child/adolescent brain, handling anger, what parents can do to help their child succeed in school, and the importance of contributing to the family via chores. Parents learn positive, non-violent discipline techniques so they can avoid power struggles. Active Parenting of Teens: Class consists of three virtual 2-hour sessions. Equips parents to meet the challenges of their children's teen years in this complicated day and age.

Parenting education workshop for parents who are referred by the courts, other agencies, as well as self-referred parents who are not involved with the courts. Challenges such as substance abuse, mental health, custody and domestic violence are a few of the reasons parents attend the program. Several groups run at the same time and parents are placed in groups according to the age of their children. Workshop meets 3 hours once a week for 8 weeks.

Program is designed as a practical approach to help parents be more positive with their children and to use more effective discipline. Program consists of six two-hour group sessions led by a facilitator and parent trainer. Parents are taught skills that help them encourage positive behavior, discourage negative behavior, and teach alternatives to problem behavior.
Provides parenting education, parent counseling and case management to parents of young children. Families in need of food, clothing or concrete assistance are provided with information and referrals.

Expectant/New Parent Assistance
Services are offered from pregnancy until their child reaches age five. Home visitors bring toys, books, activities, and information to stimulate your child's development. They also complete developmental screenings, monitoring your child's milestones, and offer referrals to community resources. Home visitors are certified by the Parents As Teachers National Center as Parent Educators and use the Parents as Teachers curriculum.

This interactive program is designed to build skills with parents who have children ages 3 - 9 and parents with youth ages 10-18 (older version includes the youth in program).
