Provides a 12 week program for adult fathers and father-figures to gain a stronger understanding of their roles and responsibilities. Assists with skill development, confiedence, parenting attitude, and education around child development, and age-appropriate discipline techniques.

The Parent-Child Home Program provides two home visits a week for families with children ages 2 and 3 years old during the school your (Oct-May). Each week the home visitor brings the family a book or educational toy that remains with them permanently. The home visitor models parenting techniques, emphasizes verbal interaction and learning through play. The goal is to help parents become their children's first and most important teacher and ensure that these children enter school ready to learn and succeed. These classes provide education to individuals who are pregnant, or parenting children who are 5 years of age and younger Pregnancy and Parenting Teen & Young Adults Case management, education, counseling and mentoring with the many challenges of parenthood. Services are available to individuals 20 years and younger who are pregnant/parenting and teens that are at risk for becoming pregnant.

PREP is a teen pregnancy prevention program for middle school-aged youth that uses evidence-based program models to educate youth on healthy decision-making patterns, abstinence and contraception, as well as adult preparatory subjects, which includes healthy relationships, financial literacy, effective parent-child communication, and college and career planning. PREP has an Advisory Board that is dedicated to helping through cross-collaborative partnerships (related to positive youth development work), program oversight, sustainability, and expansion opportunities for youth in Haverstraw and Spring Valley.

Provides support to fathers who are getting ready to be released from jail,are ex-offenders, or on probation and want to be a better dad and provider to the family. The program identifies each father's challenges and links them to community resources. Participants attend a 12-session workshop where they will learn, practice and strengthen specific parenting skills, communication, conflict resolution, anger management, including financial literacy training, pre-job skills, resume writing, interviewing skills, and employment support to help improve their economic stability.

Provides a virtual program by Zoom designed to help separating, divorced and never married parents focus on the special needs of their children during the reorganization of their family. Parents will learn how parenting apart affects children and adults, how parents can emotionally support their children during this transition, effective parenting apart strategies, and legal information.
