Ongoing classes at Northern Dutchess Hospital and Vassar Brothers Medical Center, childbirth education for the whole family, lactation consultation, mom to mom breastfeeding support groups, a donor milk drop off program and milk bank depot, prenatal breastfeeding classes and postpartum support groups.

These classes provide education to individuals who are pregnant, or parenting children who are 5 years of age and younger Pregnancy and Parenting Teen & Young Adults Case management, education, counseling and mentoring with the many challenges of parenthood. Services are available to individuals 20 years and younger who are pregnant/parenting and teens that are at risk for becoming pregnant.

Offers short-term interventions to families struggling with common childhood problems including depression, anxiety, behavioral challenges, and concerns related to ADHD and autism spectrum disorders. Provides a six session skills development program for parents. Participants will learn to reduce child problem behaviors, decrease yelling and fighting, learn how to stay calm and help their child develop self control, enrich relationships with their children, and increase their own self-confidence as well as that of their children. Licensed child care center providing comprehensive child development program for low income children and children with disabilities succeed in school.

The Parent Network of the Capital Region is one of thirteen parent centers in the State funded by the State Education Department. It provides training and support to families who have school age children with disabilities. The mission is to provide parents with the knowledge, skills, and resources to facilitate productive relationships with their school districts ensuring an appropriate education for their child. These services are offered free of charge.

This five week class is for parents/caregivers of adolescents. Parents/caregivers will learn how to understand what triggers certain behavior and how to better manage their teen's behavior through communication skills.

Comprehensive child development program that provides educational experiences, nutritional meals, counseling and opportunities for parental involvement to help prepare low income children and children with disabilities succeed in school licensed child care center preschool special education.

Offers a 7-week, 2 hours per week, parent training program to help families better understand, communicate and adjust to difficult or specific situations. Emphasizes preventive and corrective teaching skills for parents to be more effective in communication to their children. Childcare available upon request.
