LIVING WELL - A seven week life-skills group facilitated by local volunteers from Lockport CARES. Wednesdays from 9:30am-11:30am. SERENITY CIRCLE - A peer-led discussion group facilitated by two recovery coaches. Wednesdays from 12noon-1pm. EPIC Parenting Class - A 10-week, evidence-based parenting class run by EPIC employees. A court-approved certification is awarded at the completion of the 10 classes. Must pre-register to attend. Wednesdays from 12:30pm-1:30pm. HEALING TOGETHER - A support group for families and loved ones of people in recovery or currently using substances. Thursdays from 5:30pm-6:30pm. Responsible for providing assistance to families affected by child abuse/neglect or adoption of a Seneca child. Offers parenting classes for foster parents and biological parents. Program strives to prevent out of home placement of Native children; goal of the case plan is to reunify the family. Program provides case management services and referrals to other agencies that will help the family serve the best interests of the child.

Delivers high-quality interventions, improves family functioning, supports healthy relationships, and decreases the potential for out-of-home-placement. Family Partners and Family Aides provide direct family support, parent skills training, case management support, and parenting education opportunities. The PSI program is modeled after the 3SI program, and offers all the services that 3SI offers, incorporating supervised visits for youth transitioning home after foster care.

A free, education program that provides practical, emotional and spiritual support for women and men who are new or expectant parents. Includes parenting classes which are Broome County Family Court approved, and a one-on-one mentoring program to reinforce parenting and/or life skills.

This interactive program is designed to build skills with parents who have children ages 3 - 9 and parents with youth ages 10-18 (older version includes the youth in program). The facilitator guides the family through the scenarios and tailors the program to meet individual needs. Parenting Wisely can be done in 2 to 3 sessions and scheduling is flexible.Group Family Sessions - held every Spring and Fall on Thursday evenings for 3 weeks with dinner provided, along with child care for younger siblings. Limited transportation available

Offers self-administered pregnancy tests and referral for onsite ultrasound, counseling and emotional support, advocacy and support to pregnant women; mentoring programs for expectant moms, happy parents, and healthy relationships; provision of maternity and baby clothes; baby supplies; adoption referrals and parenting mentoring. Includes 4 programs:Jack O'Rourke Family Counseling Program: Provides long and short-term counseling to individuals, couples and families around a variety of issues by NYS Licensed Clinical Social Workers.Functional Family Therapy (FFT): An intensive outreach family counseling program operating in collaboration with DSS.Gateway Center for Youth: A free and confidential counseling program that offers short- term individual and psycho- educational group counseling (anger management, self- esteem, social skills, and parenting) to youth ages 8 to 21.Family Navigator Services: provided to youth and their families either when they don't meet criteria for other programs or have not been connected to them.

Offers classes for parents of children in foster care between 2 and 8 years and parents with infants/toddlers (birth to 3 years of age).

Provides a curriculum-based, psycho-educational group for parents of children and teens who are at risk for placement, are in placement or who have come to the attention of the Department of Social Services.

Focuses on increasing parental understanding of children and teen development, enhancing parenting skills, and changing parental attitudes toward children's behaviors. Classroom and in-home consultation also provided as needed.

Each class consists of a 10 week session, though some groups are longer and run up to 24 weeks. Services are provided from a trauma informed approach and uses an evidence based curriculum.

Offers workshops for parents and caregivers as well as other resources specifically developed for parenting educators, professional training opportunities for individual who support families, and internships for students in the human services field of study.

* Provides mental health counseling service: Family, parent, individual, group, couple, parent-child psychotherapy. Trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy. Interpersonal psychotherapy for depression.* Offers a therapeutic after-school program for at-risk children.* Supports pregnant people and children birth to age 17.

Provides short-term services to maintain children at home, who without this program would require out-of-home placement. Referrals for other services and linkages to other appropriate supports are made as needed.

Provides a parenting education program that is delivered in 12 weekly sessions. Parents come together to gain new or enhanced information about parenting skills. The long term goal of the program is to reduce violence, drug abuse, and delinquency in later years.

Provides services and support to eligible pregnant women which include pregnancy and childbirth classes, family development, and consultations with a nurse.

Starting with the individual's strengths and interests and emphasizing personal choice, The Arc Otsego offers comprehensive network of community-based programs and services that encourage individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Assisst with medicaid service coordination, obtaining respite services, skill training assistance, environmental modifications, adaptive technologies and guardianship.

Provides a drop-in center offering programming and activities for young children and their families including peer discussion and support, parenting education, and information and referral.

* Offers strength-based parent education services for new parents and young parents, quality care education offered to working parents as part of child care resource and referral services, and early childhood enrichment programs. Also provides supervised visitation with a trained supervisor. Able to accommodate family and attorney requests as well as court ordered visitation.
