Therapeutic Supervised Parent/Child Access: Supervised visitation service for divorced, never married, or separated families referred by Family Court which provides a safe, secure, and healing environment for children to visit with their non-custodial parent. Typically, these are families that have no allegations and/or history of mental illness, abuse, alcohol or chemical dependency, low parent skill, or a risk of abduction, and where the court has determined that supervision is required through the County.
Monitored Exchange: A neutral drop-off and pick-up service for divorced or separated parents which allows children to have safe transitions for scheduled access time, provided in situations where safe child access to a parent is jeopardized because of existing orders of protection and/or high parental conflict. Social workers who conduct the exchanges assist parents to reduce conflict and improve communication and problem-solving.
OKPEAP: Program offered to divorced or separated parents. Topics covered include the impact of divorce and separation on children, cooperative and parallel approaches to co-parenting, legal issues related to custody and/or access, alternatives to litigation, methods of communiction, and problem-solving.
Therapeutic Supervised Visitation: Assists children and their natural parents toward the goal of permanency and family reunification by providing a secure and nurturing environment where children can have contact with their parent. Three levels of supervision offered, including therapeutic, supportive, and step-out community visitation.
