Eddy Health Alert is a 24-hour personal emergency response service. Subscribers receive a "personal help button" worn on the wrist or around the neck. If there is an emergency, the individual simply presses the button and is immediately connected to a Lifeline representative, who assesses the situation and sends the appropriate help.
Offers skilled nursing at home, medical equipment and supplies for the home, and long term care.

Lifeline is a personal emergency response system which offers seniors or those with disabilities, independence and support so they may remain in their homes. A device which the person carries, or wears on their person, at all times, has a HELP button which summons emergency services within seconds, 24 hours a day.
Provides in home personal care services to Medicaid eligible individuals who have documented medical needs for these services. Caseworkers evaluate and reassess the need for services on a regular schedule. The general population in this program is elderly although the unit also services children and young adults with serious medical conditions. Types of home care available include: - Personal care programs - Consumer directed program - Block nursing - Personal emergency response system

Office for the Aging offers the Expanded In-Home Services for the Elderly Program (EISEP) that provides individuals with both case management and non-medical in-home services, such as meal preparation, and assistance with household chores and shopping. This program is available to those who are income eligible, and is designed to either delay or eliminate the need for nursing home or institutional long term care.

Offers a telephone-based and cell phone emergency response system that links an individual at home to 24-hours a day, seven days a week emergency assistance. The system consists of a home communicator unit attached to the subscriber's telephone, a personal call button worn by the subscriber and the Emergency Response Center located in the Emergency Department.
The Office for the Aging offers many services for the senior residents of Steuben County including, but not limited to, information and referral, nutrition through congregate meals, advocacy, support groups, transportation services, caregiver services, case management, and the Bone Builders and Senior Meal Programs. Bone Builders and the Senior Dinner Clubs are overseen by Pro Action of Steuben-Yates.
