Provides electronic equipment, namely, a button worn around the neck or wrist that an individual can press in times of an emergency.
Provides electronic equipment which connects frail elderly individuals or people who have disabilities with participating hospitals, paramedics or other sources of emergency assistance. A unit is connected via the telephone line and a pendant is worn by the individual. If the person needs assistance, they press the button on the pendant and the unit dials 911 who will dispatch emergency responders. If the smoke detector is set off, the unit dials 911 and they dispatch the fire department. The system will work if the person is outside within 500 feet of the base unit.
The Office for the Aging offers many services for the senior residents of Steuben County including, but not limited to, information and referral, nutrition through congregate meals, advocacy, support groups, transportation services, caregiver services, case management, and the Bone Builders and Senior Meal Programs. Bone Builders and the Senior Dinner Clubs are overseen by Pro Action of Steuben-Yates.

Lifeline is a personal emergency response system which offers seniors or those with disabilities, independence and support so they may remain in their homes. A device which the person carries, or wears on their person, at all times, has a HELP button which summons emergency services within seconds, 24 hours a day.
Offers a telephone-based emergency responses system that links an individual at home to 24 hour emergency assistance. The system consists of a home communicator unit attached to the subscribers telephone, a personal call button worn by the subscriber and a Emergency Response Center.
Around-the-clock contact with emergency medical response when user presses the system button, even if he/she cannot use the telephone.
EISEP is designed to provide non-medical services to older persons to allow them to remain at home. This includes Case Management, In-Home Services & Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS).

Hudson Valley Home Care's Lifeline Program provides emergency response systems to enable people to feel more comfortable in their own homes. The Lifeline staff is available 24 hours per day to meet the needs of their clients.

Provides case management to help seniors if they are overwhelmed with managing their health care needs. Also offers in-home assessments for seniors who may need extra help at home by providing in-home personal care services such as bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and mobility assistance or light housekeeping, shopping etc. This program may also provide assistance in paying for Lifeline service (personal emergency response system).
Provides an automated alert system, a device with a button that can be worn around the neck or wrist, that helps homebound individuals, frail elderly or those with disabilities, in case of any emergency.
