Offered September through June, and takes place from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (hours may vary for high school programming). It consists of one hour of homework support (Power Hour), activities in arts and crafts, recreation, STEM, and social/emotional learning, along with Boys & Girls Club of America curricula (Triple Play, Smart Girls, Smart Kids, Healthy Habits, among others). Options for 3 and 5 days/week.
The Nanuet Family Resource Center runs several school age care programs within the district. At Miller School and Highview there is a before school and after school program for the students that attend school in each building.
Offers a before and after school child care along with school breaks and a summer program. Provides interest based learning centers, boardgames, group games, sports, dramatic play, art, science, music, books, outdoor play, and quiet play. Field trips and swimming are offered during summer program.
Offers a licensed school age child care program where students work on homework, receive substance abuse prevention education, and lesson plans of cultural and educational nature. Also provides field trips, recreation and snacks.
Offers physical fitness activities for both adults and kids (basketball, soccer, flag football, Swimming, and more), as well as leadership development, active older adult’s programs and trips, exercise classes (yoga, cardio, strength training, water exercise), summer camps, before and after school child care, preschool programs, teen program including activity center, home school physical education, and various health and wellness programs. Off-site swimming pool offers open swim year-round, lap and family swims, lifeguard training, and swim lessons.

A before and after school program for school-aged children located at Westfield Academy & Central School and Ripley Central School. The before school program provides physical and educational activities and encourages a nutritional breakfast provided by the school. The after school program provides quality youth development opportunities such as educational, recreational, and age-appropriate activities and focuses on goal setting, homework support, team-building opportunities, and physical activity. Also offers student-led activities in team building that promote collaboration and provides projects that are developed with and by students, dealing with issues that are important to them and their community.
Provides homework help and recreational activities for children after school. Youth can socialize, play games, enjoy basketball and volleyball, and participate in job training, career exploration, and resume writing. HOURS: Ages 5-12: Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-5:30pm. Ages 13-19: Monday-Friday, 6pm-9pm.
