The Wilkinson Adult Day Health Center is a community-based long term care program that provides comprehensive health care services in a congregate day setting. Clients are provided with the medical and social services they need to remain home and part of the community. St. Mary's Adult Day Care is offered at The Wilkinson Residential Healthcare Facility on the Memorial campus. Adult Day Health Care is designed to meet the health care needs of chronically ill, frail elderly, and disabled adults who require certain primary, preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, rehabilitative or palliative services.

Offers a variety of social and recreational activities geared for those who have suffered a stroke or have physical disabilities. Activities include games, discussions, creative activities, holiday activities, picnics, group speech therapy or individual computer programs to improve language skills, seated physical exercise, guest speakers, field trips, dance and musical events. NOTE: Participants need to bring their own lunch, but snacks and beverages are provided.

Licensed child care centers, Head Start programs, family day care homes, adult day care centers and homeless shelters serving families are eligible to participate and are reimbursed for a portion of the meals served. In the United States, the program is administered at the federal level by the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Medical model adult daycare program for older adults in need of daily supervision and health services.

Provides an alternative program for adults 18 and over who have a primary diagnosis of developmental disability and eligible for OPWDD services. There is a special focus on community integration which is directed by the participants in the program. Participants engage in various sessions, workshops, outreach projects and community outings; working on individual goals and routines to enhance their quality of life.

Provides an adult day program with social activities and day respite services geared for care givers of those diagnosed with Alzheimer's or Dementia.

Provides instruction for adults with developmental disabilities and autism and other severe behavioral impairments in areas including: use of community resources, communication and socialization, health care, vocational education, personal adjustment and independent living skills, and leisure activities. Other services include crisis intervention for families, pre-vocational services, supported employment, respite and recreational programs. Year round.

Provides a safe, caring, stimulating environment for seniors who are not as independent as they once were or who have decreased physical or mental functioning yet do not require home or day health care or residential placement. Individual may require minimal assistance with daily activities such as eating, mobility, toileting, and showering. May also need companionship and socialization. Appointment required. Provides an intergenerational program with compassionate, person-centered care ans supervision for frail older adults living with both physical and/or cognitive impairments during the day. Services include social and recreational activities, training for sustaining activities of daily living and meals/snacks, along with caregiver support and case management services. Also offers an evening program, twice a week for adults who are newly diagnosed with Alzheimer's or dementia.

Provides supervised, meaningful day activities for frail elderly people who may be suffering from Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. In-depth treatment plans are devised for each client and much one-on-one attention is given. Two meals a day plus afternoon snack are provided. Call for further information.
