Provides volunteer foster homes for animals awaiting adoptions. Provides veterinary care, necessary equipment, and assistance with adoptions; the foster families provide food, socialization, and training.

Returns lost pets to their owners, advocates responsible pet ownership and finds good homes for lost, stray and abandoned pets. Assist local law enforcement agencies in investigating animal cruelty cases.

Provides housing and care for lost or stray dogs and cats.

Provides shelters to stray dogs and cats, and owned animals thoughout Schenectady County and offers them up for adoption. Offers a pet guardian program for victims of domestic violence in conjunction with the YMCA.

Provides confidential services to crime victims, with special emphasis on domestic and sexual violence. Services include emergency shelter, medical crisis intervention, crisis and supportive therapy, support groups, advocacy, crime victim compensation, and safe pet services.

Offers safe shelter for survivors of intimate partner abuse. Shelter provides 9-bed homey atmosphere and comprehensive services.

Provides a home environment for our pets, while we look for their forever home. Helps animals that are orphaned, need socialization, or who are having trouble adapting to kennel life. Provides all of the training and supplies needed to be a successful foster parent including food and all other supplies required to care for the animal.

Provides an animal shelter and pet adoptions. A microchip clinic is also available for identification purposes if your pet is ever lost.

* Provides a municipal animal resource center for at-risk animals that are homeless, injured, or pose imminent public safety concerns within the Rochester City limits.* Provides lost and found pet reunification and pet rehoming services. * Addresses city ordinances regarding companion animals with information sharing, supportive services, and enforcement.* Offers free pet services including pet food and supplies, vaccinations, identification tags, microchips, spay and neuter surgeries, wellness exams, and community veterinary care. All adopted animals receive a certificate for one free veterinary examination.* Provides temporary housing via foster homes for pets of households in crisis.
